i jus ordred a complete from headers back exhaust for my car, nothing special just replacement parts from Bosal, and im confused because my headers collect into this huge four bolt hole, and i looked in my engine bay and there seems to be some part between the headers and the downpipe. should i jus swap it for a different kind of headers or see if i can find that part too? i dont even kno what that part is?

i need my car to pass inspection and my only problem is emmisions, theres a hole on the bottom of the flange between the cat and the downpipe, both ends of the cat are rusted and so are the bolts on it, since my mom hasnt gotten me a graduation present yet, she said she'll fix my car, so i figure i may as well buy a whole new exhaust from the headers back, i found a blueprint with oem part numbers and www.toyautoparts.com has every piece i need. What i need to kno is should i replace the Oxygen sensors too? anything else i should considering im gona do this myself. What types of nuts n bolts? My step dad said if i break the bolts when i unhook the downpipe from the headers ill have to have those rethreaded, etc.. anything im no thinkin about..i dont see replacing the exhaust being very difficult

mine's been doin somethin similiar i think, i pretty sure i need a new clutch, its a manual 95 ST, and when i even feather the peddle, the revs jump way up and i barely accelerate, its been getting alot worse to, cuz i jus was in a lil bit of stop and go, and i could barely get it from one light to even move, i had to let someone go around me, and it barely got into my garage.. its 123,000 on original clutch. even if im jus driving tho, and i hit the gas and have nothin to do with the clutch, it revs really high

yea it seems exhaust and intake dont do much, i could spend the money on fixin the body and makin it look better (few dings a lil rust) maaco i heard kinda sucks tho, but on the other hand, im definatly gona have project car(sometime), but im debating whether i should make it this or something else, but for the price of the swap i could get a car for as fast if not faster(well a 3sgte neway) i mean this is my first car tho, and i kno its got potential, but if i could jus squeeze a lil more power id be happy,(what about a chip?)

i kno im gona get flamed for this but o well, whats the cheapest way to get ne power out of an st? 7a is powerless, but a swap would be expensive since i dont got that much, at the most maybe a grand for right this minute, but i was wondering if there was any possible way to get some decent power into my car for a cheap price....

and jus for kicks and giggles, has neone tried to make their car a GT4 by putting in a 3sgte and AWD, jus wonderin if neones ever tried it..

and if ne one lives in SE MA/RI area and knows a good shop fill me in
