Selling a few old 6gc things. I bought these long ago when I still had my Celica, and now its long gone to my cousin in West Virginia (gave it to her with just under 300k and still going strong).

70-77 Celica Emblems - Original Toyota emblems. They have some light scratches from living the past few years in a drawer in my office. From a couple feet away they look perfect. $40 OBO for the pair.

Chilton and Haynes manuals - Bought these used and they were a great resource when I needed them. Make an offer.

Here are a few pics. The Viper mount has a piece on the end that I couldnt find. It is the piece that you put the fork of the bike in and lock it. I had this on my car for a while and never had any problems, even going 70+ on the beltway with a mountain bike mounted on it.

You get 2 crossbars, 4 Q towers, 4 Q11 clips (the ones made to fit Celicas), and a total of 6 SKS locks (the locks are worth $75 alone), and the Viper mount. The red locking clip on the Viper mount is broken in half but it still locks, and it never gave me any problems. When I find it I will post some pics to show what I am talking about. You can look these prices up individualy and find that this is an expensive combo. It looks a little old, but still works like new.

I just bought a new truck, and just signed paperwork for a new house, so this has gotta go! I would like to get $200 + shipping.

This is a genuine Toyota part. Pay for shipping and its yours.

Here is a picture of the tag with the Toyota part number on it, and a quick shot of the whole bra itself.

Just found this in my closet. This was on the Celica when I bought it and I immediately took it off, so it has been sitting in the closet for years. It looks to be genuine Toyota, and is in pretty good condition. There is a Toyota logo on it right where the logo is on the bumper. If anyone is interested just make an offer. Here is what it looks like on the car (pic for reference, not my car)...

So my exhaust has been bad for a while now. I was in the junkyard looking for some parts when I came across a 6gen with what looks to be a decent stock exhaust. The yard wants $25 for the whole thing, so I am going back later today when there is someone who can raise the car for me. I don't want to bring a ton of tools, just what is necessary to get the job done myself. I just need from the cat to the muffler. Does anyone know off the top of their head what I will need? I'm talking about nut/bolt sizes or special tools.

Happy 4th! I am selling a set of five Exel Daytona Wheels. Four wheels have Hankook tires and the spare has a Kumho Ecsta (will get tire specs later). These wheels look great on Celicas, I received a lot of comments when I had them on the car. The wheels are in ok condition. There are some chips in the paint and on a few wheels there are a few small chunks taken out of the lip. Anyone who knows what they are doing can fix and clean these wheels up easily. I am looking for $350 for the whole set. I can provide any other info or pics if anyone is interested. Local pickup only.

What they looked like on the car...

QUOTE (captb @ Mar 25, 2010 - 6:12 AM) *
hey bojangles, i got some fogs coming in and im thinking about wiring something like this. i was just wondering why you need 2 relays to use uk fog button?

also, i think i would be ok with the the light on the button always illuminated. would that be the case if i wired it according to your diagram?

If you wired your button according to my diagram, the light would only come on when the fogs are on(which only come on when the low beams have power), and the brightness would be controlled by the dimmer switch, which controls the rest of the dash lighting, so it would be just as bright/dark as the rest of the dash. This way, the button actually serves as an indicator that the fogs are on or off, and it isn't any brighter/darker than the rest of the dash lighting. The second relay (the topmost one) is what connects the bulb in the button to the rest of the dimmer controlled illumination, and is triggered only when the fogs get power. If you don't care about being able to dim the button, take the second relay out of the equation and wire pin 2 on the switch to pin 86 on the fog light relay. The button wont constantly be lit, but it will light up when the fogs are on, which is better imho. Hope this helps.

Where did you tap into the illumination circuit? Also what kind of led did you use? I have pretty much given up on this, but your post with the new wiring setup got me inspired. Ill try out that new setup tonight.

EDIT: My god it works. Out of all the combos I tried, I don't know how I missed this one. I used your setup to make the switch turn my front fogs on/off. This is what I have set up:

1. 12v + to aftermarket relay for front fogs.
2. 12v + from low beams
3. 12v + from low beams
4.
5.
6. Ground
7. Ground
8. Ground

With this setup, the fogs can only get power when the low beams have power. I know a lot of people would rather be able to turn them on at any time, but I have had some bad luck with leaving my fogs on and draining my battery. rolleyes.gif I didn't tap into the illumination circuit because my led is dead and the switch didn't work if the illumination + and - weren't wired in some way. Once I get a new led I will hook it up to illumination, which brings me to another situation. I want my switch to light up only when the fogs are on, and the light is controlled by the dimmer switch. This way I have an indicator for when the fogs are on, and it is giving off the same light as the rest of the dash lighting. This is how I want to do it....

Let me know what you think.

I am selling my 8 pin UK spec OEM Rear Fog Light Switch. I have never installed it in my car, as I wanted to use it for front fogs but was never able to figure out the connections that made it work the way I wanted it to. I bought this from a Celica Club UK member a few months back, and it was in working condition when he disconnected it from his car. It comes with its part of the stock harness (the plug and a few inches of wire that used to connect to the stock harness), which isn't pictured. My loss is your gain! Looking for $50 shipped OBO

QUOTE (ST-Autosport @ Dec 4, 2009 - 1:16 AM) *
in that case i think you need to do this:

1 - L = leave open
2 - ill + = switched 12V +
3 - B = switched 12 +
4 - HR = ground
5 - LH = leave open
6 - FS = ground
7 - E = leave open
8 - ill - = ground

thats 2 wires, + and -

+ to pins ill + and B
- to pins HR, FS and ill-

Unfortunately that didn't work. What I need is a +12V wire that comes from the button to the 85 pin on the relay. I have tried a ton of combinations but cant seem to find a +12V out. mad.gif
