Don't go out a buy speaker mounts, just draw around the original speaker onto some 8mm ply/mdf and make your own speaker mounts to fill the gap you have left. I did this with mine in the front and rear and have 6.5" speakers all round without have to trim any door pannels.

Head - Caska DVD/TV/AUX/TUNER 4x50W, 4 PRE OUT,
Front - Infinity Reference 6.5" componants
Rear - Velocity (Blaupunkt) 6.5" 2 way
Amp - Kicker 404
Sub - Alpine S Type 10"

Its not the most expensive setup in the world but its loud enough to make your ears ring. Just dont spend a lot of money on one thing and skimp on others, it won't sound right, better to spend a moderate amount across the whole range

GT4 - Bridgestone GIII, 225/45/17
St - Bridgestone RE040, 225/40/18

Had a set of Toyo proxes T1-S on the St, they lasted about 12000 miles. The Bridgestone have loads more grip on corners compared to the Toyo, however they did cost me 560 for a set.

Don't touch the things! My mate brought the E-Ram Supercharger kit for his Honda Prelude. It creates a flat spot on the throttle when it activates. The thing only works on full throttle so you don't even know when the dam thing is on

Hks only make the silent muffler now, Mongoose isnt to my liking, I have a price on the blitz and I haven't heard of AFAIK. No way is there room to go under the the axel and if there was the roads around here would have it ripped off after a few miles

I offered up a hks HI POWER Universal muffler. The problem is the box is too long and the inlet pipe in centred. As standard the inlet pipe is offset to the top left of the muffler. The exhaust guys said they would have too much of a job on their hands to get it to fit rightand the gases wouldn't flow well because of the angle. I didn't want a full custom system as the palces dont make a tip section on par with that of hks

When you get a new battery by one for a diesel car. They have a higher cold crank rating than petrol cars, it means they can provide you with the power better than your standard one. the car will start better to as it will turn over quicker and your lights should stop dimming

After days of searching for a new exhaust system for my GT4 I have been told by the main dealers they have stopped producing the following systems. Apexi N1, 5Zigen, HKS hi power. The reason = The celica is on the way out! Does anyone know of a dealer who may have some left. It seems that my only choices are Blitz or C-One. It has to be full stainless with 2.5" pipe. The HKS would be my preference for looks and sound by don't know where else to go!

What I meant to say is it a sealed unit once the glass is fitted or are you able to remove the glass at will? Will you be supplying them in all the different colours?

Are you able to remove the glass to custom paint the inside of the light to make it match the bodywork of the car like they do in ferraris and such?

Thanks! I'm in two minds about them tho. I keep looking at the TRD corner splitters. Do I stick with the rally theme as the car is intended for or go for the street look???

The speedo isn't affected that badly, the police havent done me for speeding, I still go by what it says on the dash. The acceleration is as good as it was before and that extra 5mm on the wall makes it corner son much quicker as there is more tread left on the tarmack when the tire stretches. I will never go back to 35's they destroyed my alloys

225/40/18 is a good set up, I changed to these from 215/35/18. The sidewall now protects the wheel as it should and no holes can damage the rim of wheel, the ride is more comfortable now too

Just brought a GT4, my old st has converted me to a celica lover. Its a WRC model & is in perfect condition, the only problem is the import centre says it has ABS but I cannot see the control unit for it. It isn't by the washer top up like usual. Is it possible the unit has been removed or is it else where?
