Hey guys! so i've since donated my 6gc after the engine froze (thank you nonfunctioning dash light!), but I still have some stuff laying around and figured someone on here might put to good use:

VIS carbon fiber hood invader style - undamaged but clear coat is gone, now hazy. I'm sure you can sand it down and regloss it or your choice of paint, otherwise functions perfectly. uses stock hood locking (no need for hood pins). super lightweight - asking $300

VIS carbon fiber hatch WITH TINTED GLASS attached (just take off your old hatch and bolt this one right up, no need to switch glass) - undamaged but clear coat is starting to fade in certain areas. same with hood, it can be reconditioned like new with a clear top coat or paint. uses stock trunk locking. super lightweight. includes plastic trunk underside surround pieces. does not have hole for wiper or nozzle (if you add yours you will need to reinforce with a bracket) - asking $400.

if you want both of the above, i can knock off $200 off total, so $500 for the pair.

hatch trunk cover. has the two side dangly bits but no trunk lid bracket- $40.

- unpainted (primer gray) rear invader style fiberglass bumper - asking $100
- black front invader style fiberglass bumper (already premolded to fit the lights) - asking $250

i can do both the front and back for $300

- (4) 17" rage breaker rims with tires. all have various degrees of curb rash on them, easily fixed with plastidip. 2 tires have 95% tread and the other two look to have a little more than 50%. - asking $400.

that's all for now....getting a lil too hot to see what else is in the garage, but will add more if i find.

anybody care to elaborate on the "plate over plate" idea? i just don't get it....

So lets say you have a carbon fiber hood.....and/or hatch....and the shiny clear top coat of fiberglass has gone to sh!t and turned into an ugly haze, how would you restore it to its former glory? is it something as easy as using a headlight restore kit? or much more complicated involving sanding it and reglossing it with something? not that it has happened to me or anything 0:)

have you not been to vegas before? there's endless amount of things to do there. Best buffet is at iMagine resort (way before the strip). Go right before breakfast ends so that you catch lunch but only pay breakfast price. Or play with players club for an hour and get free comp buffet. Rio has a good world buffet also, not to mention great topside view of the city on the very top. club at the top has free entrance at night, just have to look for those little cards people pass out. Show galore, see any cirque du soleil, especially Ka (dont fall for zumanity though). Blue man group is great, so is La reve. go to tix4tonight stands all over vegas for discounts for shows. take the drive to mt charleston. its an hour away but offers great hikes with waterfalls. also take great car pics there with mountainside in background. dont waste your time with lake las vegas, its a ghost town. shop at las vegas premium outlets, next to tahiti village at the beginning of the strip before the "welcome to las vegas" sign (thats good too if you want to you can park by it and take a pic standing right under it). good brazilian steakhouse around there too, right across from the airport.

i think the ones that disappear into the ground are awesomer lol

old news. theres video of it somewhere covering an iphone that they throw against the wall. they also put it in a hat or something. pretty cool though.

i would presume that it would protect whatever its covering like a shell, so yea if it were a body suit and you did a belly flop onto cement from a 4 story building, you still would sustain heavy internal injuries from stuff being smushed inside.

i wonder how bullet proof this stuff is....

my update
my latest accomplishment is passing the nclex-rn. i am officially a registered nurse.

so glad to be done with school....for now...i might decide to go all the way for "nurse practitioner", but i have 80 grand in loans so ill need to work

nothing planned for the celica, it's had its days. ive changed everything there is to change to it except the engine and the paint, so maaaaybe a paint job? i dunno

i still have the Sky. nothing like cruising down PCH with the top down in the middle of December! mwahahahaha

this is correct, but more should be added. the car shop would not be liable if damage was done as a result of the car and it's modifications that may make it unstable during a dyno that would otherwise have been a normal situation with an average dyno client. ex. the wheel flies off/exhaust pipe blows up, etc. aka "if the car breaks, its because the owner messed with it. dyno at your own risk"

from what is shown on the video, this is not the fault of the car owner but rather damage done as a result of negligence of the dyno operator. this was an event that happened during normal dyno operation and could easily have been any other car. an error made in anchoring the vehicle down resulted in property damage to the customer. in this case, the car owner may be able to collect compensation. also, if faulty anchoring equipment is the culprit, the shop may sue whomever they bought it from (assuming it was bought brand new) if they can prove they followed correct pre-dyno procedures in anchoring the car down.

of course, this took place in puerto rico, so all of the above might as well get thrown out the window if the justice system is not the same.

im not selling them, just trying to get a better deal from a local store by buying them in bigger quantity and then redistributing them. just letting you all know of a good deal..... anyways, who knows how the free cases situation will turn out (that's like 2 weeks down the road). notice that all the apple stores have depleted their once adundant supply of bumpers, including taking it off of apple.com.

you could go through ebay and risk it for an overseas case thatll take weeks just to arrive with no idea of the quality

or rely on a fellow 6gc member that know's his stuff when it comes to iPhones and especially cases




anyways....yea those other phones are whack with the huge screen. even though the iPhone 4 screen is smaller, it still manages to pack in more pixels lol.

you could probably get around 250 for your 3g, as long as its in working condition. maybe even 300 if you jailbreak the sucker and put some quality apps on there to sweeten the deal.

theres tons of texting apps where you can text for free, so that shouldnt be an issue. i might even just do that and get rid of my texting plan (itll bring my monthly bill to $60!!) my data plan is unlimited. i got it before they switched to the tiered pricing. its great because i can tether it out to my ipad and use it for internet. =)

i too got one of the first ones off the boat. it came in on the 23rd. got it covered with invisible shield and an apple bumper. waiting for switcheasy to mail me my case. also got a full cover from decalgirl.com.

so far im loving it. sold my 3gs on ebay for $400 and dont miss it. the extra battery life is a selling point all by itself. the new display makes me cringe when i look at the 3gs (or older) displays and even when im looking at my ipad.

jokerkid, do you need unlimited minutes? im paying $69 bucks on at&t for 450 rollover (i have like over 4,000 unused minutes), 1500 text, unlimited n/w and mobile to mobile, and the iphone data plan.

so how is everyone doing? any new regulars on here? ive been gone all year, and for that i am sorry. ive been so swamped with school winding down to a month left, that i hardly have time to even think about anything else. ill be finally done with my LVN to RN school next month. it's been crazy busy with 12 hour clinicals and neverending testing both online (3 different sites) and on campus.

i still drive the celi around along with my sky. she still runs beautifully. pretty much returned to stock, i want to put my subs, cf hood, bodykit, and rims back on (theyre just sitting around) so maybe after school, i dunno. itll give me something to do. to those of you that i sold my other parts to, how are they holding up? pics?

i miss you all and will try to sign onto here more frequently. anyone that sent me a pm - sorry i deleted them all. pls resend me if you still have a question, etc.
