well if its not welded idk what else it would be b/c there is solid metal on the base of the plug and on the head. i'll try again to take another pic. i'm kinda near allentown and reading. that would be great if you could find one, we could meet somewhere and you could see the monstrosity and i could help fix it. bitter- i'm not making this up so idk what else it would be if thats not welded, i mean it is like 8 inches down a really small hole so i can see it that well but its solid and metallic for sure |

So today i went to change the plugs and maybe give the old ST some more life and i found a terrible surprise. A previous owner welded the plug in place, i would say the bead is about 3/8" long. I guess they stripped the threads and were too lazy to put in a Heli-Coil. i tried to take a picture, but the flash didnt go in the deep hole. I cant change the plug obviously, i guess wait for the plug to go bad and then worry about it. So is the head salvageable or would i need a new one after the plug goes? |

i was also thinking that maybe if i did get an amp i would get a JBL CS60 2 channel. idk, anyone want to help out a NOOB? i've also been throwing around the idea of subs too, but i would rather have better SQ than just a really hard hitting but crappy sounding system. i really cant decide what i want. all i know is that i would rather spend less than $200, but that isnt set in stone. so if anyone knows anything about those speakers or the amp, or just wants to give me advice, that'd be great, thanks. keith |

so i have a JVC headunit everything else in my system is stock and am thinking of buying this: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-O7gMcRHPhOh/c...00&I=500SPS171A i found it for $113 shipped. i was just wondering if anyone had any opinions on these speakers. i know alpine is supposed to be good, but i just want to see what more experienced people thought of them. i choose these because i'm really not looking to buy an amp and not to spend too much either. keith |

under armour. and what sucks is that its so freaking expensive. i have 6 long sleeve shirts, one short sleve, one sleeve-less, a pair of compression shorts, pants and a hat. wow, when i add all that up that is a lot money, exspecially when i realize that i can only wear it for sports. man, i shoulda bought some rims or something and got a $10 sweat shirt instead of 6 $50 under armour shirts and no rims. yeah well, its the best there is. |

i must say, as a coupe owner, that IMO hatches are sexier stock. when modded correctly both hatch and coupe are equal, but in my budget range, the sexier car would have been the hatch. but i was naive when i got the car and didnt know about the hatches, and the coupe is still sexy, just not as much as the hatch. |
