i was driving home for lunch yesterday and the roads were icy. i was about a mile away from home and a woman in a suburban rearended a mini van and i was going in the opposite diretion and they both slid into me. i'm sad for wife, but i'm glad i was'nt driving my celica. the 4runner might be repairable but it would have totaled the celica.

I honestly think its worth the money. You will never find a car with so many curves and so rare like the 6th gen celica

yep thats how i feel, i love the looks of the car and there's not one around every corner.

Well known contact wear of the starter. $20 rebuilt kit from toyota,
couple hours of your time - no hurry, with beer breaks - no $400 shaft.
It is your choice.

QUOTE(sinner96ST @ Nov 27, 2006 - 3:18 PM)

ouch, $400 for starter & install.

yeah id do that, just replace the starter contacts! their cheap and easy!

it wont hurt anything but it will smoke abit and you might notice some power loss. if it were mine i would probably remove the feul pump and siphon most of it out, you could use the feul pump the problem with that is right before the filter its a hard line and gonna be hard to get it in a bucketand may a potential fire hazard, if your gonna do that you need to secure a hose to it and in a bucket or something safe to put the fuel inor you could maybe take it loose at the fuel rail.

I've seen a Curren in the 6M1 green and I think its pretty similar to our color. from the sticky it looks like just the vents and bulge are pre-painted... in which case I say 6M1 would be close enough to not notice or black would be just fine.

I wish I could afford that front end. I'd love to see what a GT-4 would look like in 6P3 wink.gif

yep just the hood bulge and the vents are prepainted, i ordered mine in black, i'll see how they look on a red car before i paint them.

are those mirrors off a 5th gen? and are you going to paint the spoiler?

yes those are 5th gen mirrors, i'm not painting the spoiler or the mirrors yet because i want to see what it look like with the GT4 hood and bumber red and the vents, mirrors and spoiler black. if i dont' like it then i'll change it, but thats a why the spoiler is black.

Exactly! Drop your car it would look even better. But be careful, you'll more than likely have to down size the sidewall to 45 because the 50 will rub. I know this because I tried it when I had my 17" adr sukudos.

yeah thats why i went with 50's cause i'm not sure that i want to drop it, i live in colorado and sometimes i scrape at stock height.
