i just bougt RAGE sport seats.
nog i have problems fitting them.
they came with universal rails.
and to make them fit i firt made a platform.
and mounted the seats on there.

now the problem is that the seats are way to high.
i m allmost sitting with my head against the roof.
so does anyone have any hints how i could meke them fit.

i tought buying a platform from sparco or something like that but i couldn't find one for a 6 gc frown.gif

now how much difrence is there in the mounts of a 5 gen a 6 gen and a 7 gen ?

so that i might buy a 5 th or a 6 th and customise it

(and i did do a search, but couldnt really find what i needed frown.gif )

redface.gif I got a magnaflow HI cat and a racing series muffler 2.25" (Custom wielded on)
It sounds mean and when the VVT kicks in it sounds like a whistling bee with a bang noise. Very nasty, a friend said it was almost like a turbo spooling up.

ummm...... if you have a st..... i dont think you have vvt lol...

I just got a Magnaflow Race series muffler running 2.5 back to 3" outlet. straight from the header, no cat nothing and it sounds great! ill post pics and sound clips tonight. best part, muffler was 115, mandrel bent exhaust was 87 dollars installed with a flex pipe so little over 200 for a awsome sounding/ performing exhaust!

i ll love the soundclips wink.gif
thats where is it all about.

I drive a manual. So there's no dipstick? How do you check the level? I'm not very knowledgeble with manual trannys. Every one of our other cars is an auto.

if you really want to check your oil level you have to remove the fill bolt.
can't really say where it located.
but if you can't see any leaks around your gearbox you sould be fine.
don't wurry bout it .
or ask to refill your gearbox nxtime you have a maintnance

(sorry for my langue but normaly i speak duch tongue.gif)

QUOTE(shin @ Aug 17, 2005 - 10:11 PM)
well.. i should start by asking you to search before posting since this has been covered tooooo many times lol.. but if you're looking into getting more power out of your 7afe, a exhaust and intake ain't gonna give you much.... but if you intend to get a exhaust, get yourself a muffler you like and get a straight pipe. you could keep the resonator. get a header and a CAI. plyr158 use the tiburon AEM intake, did a little customizing and it seems great. but like i said.. the 7afe ain't gonna give you much power unless you go turbo...  biggrin.gif

yea i did look at the topics but didn't realy found something.
btw; is it possible to mount a 4afe cilinderhead on a 7afe block?
becouse that would be a option i might consider

hello all i m new on this forum but i have some questions.

what are the best ways to get more preformance out a 7afe without
spending a lot of mony.
i was thinking about a diffrent intake a other mufler and a cat back system.
but how much will this do? and what other options do i have?
i live in belgium and the law on engine tuning is pritty lame here.
so mounting a turbo is out of the question.
but maybe other injectors and a fuel pomp with a larger capacity?

well i don't know tongue.gif

but does anyone here has some sugestions?
