The MR2 3SGTE is a little harder to swap into the Celica, get one from a Celica GT4. The GT mounts will work as long as you are using the stock tranny, and grind some off the passenger mount. The hardest part is the wiring, but I can do that for you, the cost is $350 plus shipping. -Doc You see I'd love to get a GT4 motor but one I'm on a little budget, two I found a site that's selling the motor, tranny, ECU and axles for $1400. Aite fellas I'm almost ready pick up my motor for my 94 celica GT. I'm lookin into getting a 90-93 jdm 3s-gte out of a mr2. I've read somewhere a while ago that the motor drops in using the same motor mounts. Is that true? On top of that I've been trying to do a check list making sure that I have everything to do this swap. I'm goin to attempt to do this swap with my friend who works at a garage, but I feel like I'm still forgetting something. So what I'm asking is for those who've done the swap if they could post up what measures they took to do this swap. |
