payments? can we transplant that engine into my car if i bought the whole thing? Sorry, I'm not taking payments. This has to be paid upfront in full. The motor and everything else can definitely be swapped into another AT200 or ST202. You can either do it yourself or find a shop that can help you with that. Unfortunately, E.L. Prototypes closed down. I wouldn't recommend them anyway, considering it took them ALMOST two years to complete my swap. I spent a lot of time sourcing parts, which included the LSD, the shafts to mate with the tranny, etc. I spent so much time working on this car and even getting the Varis kit from JAPAN that it's hard for me to let this go. But I gotta do what I gotta do. And to anyone who's not seriously interested, please don't try to low ball (i.e. Don't you dare ask me to go down to $2K... you know who you are)... $3K is already a good price considering what's already included. The person who ends up buying my car, I'm going to include all the maintenance records as well as receipts (all in PDFs) so you'll have an idea on how much love I put into this car and how much I spent... Again... DO NOT try and low ball... you will get ignored! Thanks, Ray |

Hi Guys, I just wanted to add that I'm not going to part anything out. It wouldn't be fair to the person who ends up buying the car. I'm selling everything all together. Thanks, Ray |

The sideskirts that are currently on the Celica are molded on and can't be removed easily. However, I do have JDM Varis sideskirts (Straight from JAPAN) and a VIS Z Max rear lip for sale as well. Here are pics of what the Varis kit looks like |

Hi Everyone, I haven't been around these parts IN A LONG time. I don't even know who's still around from back when I was still in the scene. Anyway, hello to all the old and new members. I'm in the processing of selling my 1994 Celica. Unfortunately, I had an accident back in November 2005 and kept her garaged hoping to one day get her fixed. I'm at a point where I have to sell my GT-FOUR Hybrid, now that I have a 10-month old daughter and don't have time for this hobby any longer. My car still runs and just needs to be fixed up. The damage looks worse than it really is because the airbags deployed due to not having a front re-bar. If you don't want to try and fix her up, my Celi includes all the parts necessary to perform a complete swap (minus the damaged parts of course). I posted all the details on Craigs List: http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/cto/2678860522.html I hope that posting a link to my CL ad isn't against forum rules. If it is, I do apologize in advance and will be willing to repost all the information here. Please feel free to contact me if you're interested. I also have Varis side skirts and a VIS Z Max read lip if interested. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks for reading! -Ray EDIT 1: NO TRADES! Get real people! If I were interested, I would've mentioned this. EDIT 2: WOW, I totally forgot about this thread. My Swap Log |

QUOTE(95CelicaST @ Dec 6, 2005 - 10:35 AM) I think if I would have spent the mondo cash on that kit, I would kill anyone who touched it.. Then again I already have that mindset about everything.. You really don't know how bad I wanted to KILL the truck driver that rear ended me... especially after the CHP told me that it was my fault. He more than likely would have agreed with me in saying that the truck driver was at fault and driving WRECKLESSLY had he witnessed the accident first hand. Seriously... I wish I had his address right now.. you really don't know... |

Ever since I started this new job, I haven't had time to do anything. Not only that, I also purchased a house last year, which is what all my expenses have been going into. I definitely miss coming on here and choppin it up with all you guys. Sorry, but I got home really late last night and couldn't take any pictures. If I get home early today, then I'll take some pics as soon as I get home. Most likely, I won't get home early because I got to work late. It took me 2.5 hours to get to work today because some big rig collided with a car, which ejected the driver and killed him. That car somehow spun out of control, facing the westbound on the eastbound traffic. That's how the big rig hit him. The big rig ended up smashing THROUGH the center divider, ending up on the freeway going westbound. So yeah... it was a really HORRIBLE drive to work today... and to think... I left early. =/ Anway... I'll try to get some pics ASAP for you guys. On a side note: I kept thinking about my car all day yesterday again... and how hard it was to get a lot of the parts (Apex Intake, E153 tranny with LSD, Varis body kit, etc.) If I were to start up this project again... I'd hate to go through all that again... grrr... I think I'm mostly crushed about the body kit most of all... since it's not easy getting kits from Japan. Take care guys. I'll be in touch. |

Hi Peeps... Yes.. I'm back... but with bad news. Before I start explaining, let me tell those who don't me, you can read about my car here: http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=6255 Anyway, I just wanted to say that I have to sell my car. I had an unfortunate event the day after Thanksgiving. I rear ended a S500 on my way home from Black Friday shopping. Rather than putting anymore into this car than I already have, I think I'm at that age where I need to just move on. It's really breaking my heart to type this because I've had this car since 1994 (I'm the original owner), and was hoping to keep this car as a WIP Project car till I grow old. But I really should just hand her over to another enthusiast who will be willing to take good care of her as well as I tried to do. How bad was the damage? In my eyes... bad enough relative to how much I spent on the GT-FOUR hood and the Varis body kit. When I collided with the person in front of me, the front bumper crumpled, headlights (except for the passenger-side lowbeam) cracked to pieces, and the GT-FOUR hood folded. Fortunately, the front fenders didn't get damaged at all. Some internal parts got damaged as well, (i.e. the radiator and POSSIBLY, NOT CERTAIN the heat exchange for the A/W Intercooler). The windshield is cracked from both airbags getting deployed. I got rear ended by a big rig last year, so the Varis rear bumper is cracked, but still repairable. The front bumper on the other hand isn't. From what I can tell, the Celi is still repairable. The amount you'll spend will more than likely be less than what I spent on all the body work, the motor, motor installation, WIRING, etc. I'm planning on taking pictures some time this week. What sucks is that I had just bought new tires about 3 weeks ago, and got new brakes in August. Anway, again, I feel really crushed right now because I spent over $10K on this car since I've owned her, but a lot of time, effort, AND LOVE into her... but feel that it's best to just let her go. If you are at all interested in buying her AS-IS to either repair, or salvage the parts for a motor swap, feel free to post here, PM me, or email me an offer. My email is rayf@illmaticonline.com A very sad Celi enthusiast, Ray |

I've been boosting 15 lbs for a long time now... DD... in traffic also, and no problems. My brother has been boosting his MR2 at 14.5 for about 3 years now... no problems. to people who think otherwise about a daily driven boosted car... |

That's really good to hear Jay. I hope it all works out for you and that you don't endure the pain that I went through. You all missed me? Really? LOL. I suck! As for my car, I got it back from the body shop two weeks ago. I've been too busy (working 50 hours a week now), which is why I haven't been around much. I should have some time this weekend to take pics of my car with the Varis kit on. Good luck with the swap Jay and everyone else who's doing it. |

Read what shid posted above... No one was bashing... people offered "cordial" suggestions prior to his SECOND post... Obviously, he didn't listen and chose to be LAZY... but oh well... I guess that's something you overlooked... |

It depends on what car and generation. MR2's a different transmission than a GT-FOUR. In addition, each generation has a slightly different setup (i.e. different gear ratios, LSD, etc). |

When I was new to the world of message boards (celica.net and toyotacelicaweb.com), the first thing I would do was search for an answer. Mind you, I started my search using Google prior to my discovery of message boards. But oh well, I guess not everyone has common sense... sorry Mark... I guess it's not polite for us to make assumptions like that... |

We aren't the admins, nor the moderators (although I used to be a mod), or Celica.net. Common sense would tell you that you should contact Celica.net's admin *cough* Clayton *cough*. He should be able to look up the info in the logs regarding your problems. *sigh* |
