yea f that. im just gonna get tein springs. it comes out to around 300 for coilovers due to the fact of having to get caster camber kits and get an alignment done. I dont wanna rediculously bad camber like that piece of **** rice i see everywhere. while ill still prolly need to get an alignment done itll just come out to be less anyway. |

that has happened to me before. not that many lugs but before. i think its because auto shops, when they put wheels on cars they use impact guns which can cause cross threading. Time is also a factor, since you screw and unscrew them all the time (rotating tires, brakes, exhaust, etc.). |

also, i forgot to mention that the whole thing will be rounded and designed based on an angle of about 30-45 degrees horizontal to the bottom of the trunk, angleing upwards towards the seats. Also while the subs will be angled at the angle, they are also gonna be angled towards the sides of the trunk at an exact 36 degree angle. in my head, this is a good design, but we'll see when its being molded. also, where do you guys feel i should position my amp? |

Im pretty much finisehed with the planning and drawing stages of this project but i just wanted to see if you guys had any tips. Im gonna be using styrofoam to mold it, using a heated styrafoam cutter. also im gonna be using MDF board at the base of the whole thing with mdf pillars and an MDF board that will line up with the back of the rear seats. However, i was wondering if this is a good way of doing it? I want to keep my existing carpeting and creating this type of mold with an MDF base and sides will give it good styling and a clean look. any tips? |

i got the RX-4010, ordered it off of www.n2performance.com. Its a smaller filter, so it worked PERFECTLY, fitting in under the battery and radiator coolant reservior. Best of luck. PM me if anything else! |

checked the brakes on monday, all is well, so its definitely the rotors. the pads still have a good 1.5-2 cm on them, so Beefstew is most likely right, since its been doing it since i got the pads, they are semi-metallic so hey kinda suck, im over it though. |

Yes. splash guards. not mud flaps. If i wanted to buy mud-flaps, id go old shool, two-foot rally mud flaps. hah, however that would be kinda fun... anywho, Preferrably white ones with little to no damage. |

built my own from the how to. used the 2.5 inch madrel bent tubing from jcwhitney.com and ordered silicone hose coupling off e-bay, and finally a K&N filter model # RX-4010 i believe. I had to modify my piping a bit more than celicaSTX says to, because my radiator fluid reservior was a little obstructive. total...$100 bucks. The added little kick and great resonance are well worth the money spent. im having trouble keeping a light foot |

BRINGING THIS POST BACK! haha. anyway. im not very familiar with bore and stroke so dont bag my knowledge. but wouldnt increasing the bore increase horsepower, since there is a greater vacuum during the intake stroke created in the cylinder, bringing in more air and fuel, allowing for a larger more powerful explosion? i know that sounds a little intuitive, and it might be a misconception, so feel free to clear it up with more mechanical knowledge. Also, increasing the bore weakens the engine based on what it is bored to, but by how much would it be weakened from about a 1/5th of a liter bore? |
