Open timing belt cover in engine bay is labor consuming work. It's better to replace cam's seal, water pump, oil pump's seal and o-ring, and crank's seal at the time you replace timing belt tensioner.

Her original engine was 5SFE with auto tranny.
The previous owner had swap 3SGE M/T (done by another shop).

I'm still wonder she had helical LSD or not.

For alternative fuel, LPG pressure reducer.

Tips.
If you want "more" negative camber, ST215's hub is the solution.

This is "Silver Arrow". She is Thai's spec celica.

I bought her from my teenage customer last year. GT-Four replica, broken front lip, gasoline system fail, run on LPG only, 18" Advan replica rims with 215/35 R18 NANKANG?? tyre.

At first, I plan to repair and sell, But fortunately or unfortunately I could sold another 3 cars. I change my plan to keep her as my DD & beater.
Build with "MINIMUM" budget basis.

First, I repaired gasoline system, problem came from my teen customer. He never refill gas , fuel pump dry run for a long time. --> fuel pump die. --> replace.

Then, I replace broken lip with replica C-ONE lip. And fortunately, another customer of mine like "fake" 18" Advan rims. He ask to swap with "real" 17" black racing + yokohama tyre.

This is her current look!

I'm not sure for USDM system, but for JDM's OBD-II like BEAMS.

You can short E1&Tc to get error code from CEL flashing.

That's a scrap yard car?? Good god, what id do to be able to have access to a Japan scrap yard..

Glad you saved her, great work so far and an impressive collection man!

There are many Thai people operate junkyard or auto recycle business in Japan.
I send my require cars or parts to them via LINE or phone call.

Normally I ask them to cut and import as front clip + parts. --> For sell to my customers.

Only if a few cases, spare and import as whole unit. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif --> For my own collection. tongue.gif tongue.gif

Sounds like your living the life. Would love to see pictures of your curren collection. If the celica looks this good can only imagine the currens..

About my currens, both are not finish yet.

Remain work is paint job. I hope to finish before Thailand's rain season this year. frown.gif
97' Red Curren aka "Cherry" : BEAMS red top M/T LSD, SS suspension, black-red interior.
96' Silver Curren aka "Silver Star" : BEAMS red top A/T, normal MS suspension, curren's original grey interior.

Stay tuned!!

Today I work on customers car.

This is "rare" JDM yellow ST202 with super strut, but very poor maintain.

Yesterday I change all rear arm bushing. Today I replace almost front SS component and wheel bearing.

Sub frame and banana bar were bolt without guide bush, and frame thread was damaged.

Super Strut components

Wheel bearing. I don't know this is common in others country or not. But in my country , it's back order item.

After assembly, next ---> wheel alighment.
