It’s finally time to move this along to someone that will appreciate it. I bought it in 2005 and believe I’m the third owner. For the past 3 years it’s just been sitting in my shop on a float charger, I start it up every once in a while to circulate the oil. It came with just about every option except ABS. Leather seats, premium sound system, sport suspension system, power sun/moon roof, etc. See the picture of the window sticker for more details

Asking $2,000

Pros:
Runs great, I've kept up on the maintenance since buying it. Clutch, front half shafts, bearings, timing belt, valve adjustment, distributor, radiator are all in great shape. I have records for everything I did plus a lot of them going back to when the car was purchased
All vacuum lines and intake replaced with silicon
Polyurethane suspension bushings all around and front motor mount
Megan coilovers, camber bolts installed and four wheel alignment to set it up correctly
17” Scion tC wheels. 2,424 miles on the tires. Two full size spares and two extra rims (8 rims total including what's on the car)
Lots of spares and extras: I have all the parts to do the facelift plus add fog lights except the bumper itself. Extra headlights, suspension parts, emblems, etc.
Seat heater switches are installed but I never got around to redoing the seats
Reverse indiglo gauges. I have an extra dash piece so they can be removed and put back to stock
Receiver trailer hitch (don't laugh, it's actually the best way to mount a bike rack)

Cons:
It’s got 247,623 miles and is showing its age. The interior could use some attention. The paint needs help, the tint needs to be redone. Mostly small stuff that someone with the time and energy could take care of easily. Needs new speakers. The Alpine head unit is old but still good, there's an amp under the drivers seat to drive the 8" speakers

The bulb probably burned out.

Happened to my moms camry and it was a royal pain to get to the bulb.

If the flashing blue lights bother you there is probably a way to fix that.

Your head unit might be in demo mode. Look in the manual for how to turn it off.

I have a lot going on in the next couple of weeks but I might reach out to the seller to show an interest.

This looks like Natalie's car. Not sure if this is her selling it or someone else:

GT4 and JDM parts car

Seems like a lot of good parts, or might be an easy fix to get it back on the road.

QUOTE (RocketScott @ Feb 23, 2016 - 6:40 PM) *
I saw it shortly after Coomer sold it so I know what it 'should' look like. It's cool for sure, he made a work of art and it's sad to see what happened to it. I would have bought it when I had the chance but not for what the douche wanted for it. To get it back to what it should be would take so much time and money that any of us considering doing it would be better off buying another celli and doing everything all over again. The fact that it was Coomers is cool but not enough to drop 4k on a parts car.

I must've been that "douche", as I was the one who bought it from Coomer.

Not you, I was referring to the douche that posted it on CL years after we met. When I saw it (and met you) in the U village parking garage for a small meet the car still looked great.

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

It's been years since I saw it on CL last. I emailed and was interested but after more details came out I could see it was junk at that point. He still wanted north of $4K for it too.

so is this for all 4 wheels? (front and back)

You need one bolt for each wheel. There are 2 bolts in each kit.

Typically you just need them for the back but I ordered a set for the front too. For some reason my front right wheel was cambered out.

I have two camber kits that I don't need (2 bolts in each kit). $20 each, shipped. They are brand new in the box although I will put them in a small flat rate box for shipping.
One pair sold, one still available

If the weather stripping looks ok, you might have something going on with your window alignment.

My guess would be those are for the amp.

My car has the premium sound system and had an amp in that location under the head unit and another under the seat.

Might have jumped a tooth on the timing belt?

I've never had that happen so I can't say exactly what the symptoms would be.

I'd check the timing.

Sorry it took me so long. Here's a picture of my intake:

Links to the parts:
60 degree bend
Hump hose coupler
12" x 2.5" Aluminum pipe
Hose clamps

You only need half of the 12" aluminum tube. I cut it on a power miter saw with a carbide blade. If your friend wants the leftover tube from my intake I can cut it to the right length and mail it although it might be cheaper just to order it with all the other stuff and find someone local to cut it.

+1

The forum used to be a lot more active, it just doesn't show while browsing around.

Sure thing.

I'd be happy to get them out of my shop.

What is your zip?

QUOTE (CosaChow @ Nov 19, 2015 - 8:59 PM) *
It looks like both those sets use an external crossover which will complicate things since the 8 speaker system uses a separate amp for the front mid/tweets and front 8" woofers. I believe the stock amp behind the ac controls that powers the front mid/tweets and rear 6.5" speakers also high passes the fronts.

All my stock radio stuff is long gone, I gave it away here years ago.

I don't remember which Alpine head unit I have but it's an older one.

It's pushing out 16w per channel and right now it runs the back speakers, the front 4" are gone.

For the 8" subs I have a Kicker amp that's 85w x2

I'm thinking I can use that to power the Focal 165 AS3 system but I might be better off getting a four channel amp.

Not sure how important the rear speakers are, right now that's all I have really.

It's time to replace my speakers and as usual there aren't many options.

Seems like the best option I found is this:

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_091165AS3/Foc...nce-165AS3.html

There are also a couple of other sets from Precision Power. I've never heard of them. And a set from MB Quart that are made for a BMW but look like they might fit.

Any of you have experience with Focal or have any other options for the 8 speaker system?

The sport package had the rebuildable front struts but I don't understand what was supposed to be better about them.

When I replaced mine I bought the KYBs that were all one piece, they were only $10 more.

Can you take the cartridges back?

If you really want to use them I still have the lower part they fit into.

Free + shipping

I gave up on trying to find a decent intake tube to fit the factory airbox so I made my own.

I'll have to find my paperwork but it was something like siliconhose.com. I can't find it on Google.

I bought a 60 degree elbow, a flex connector, and a 12" tube.

Cut the 12" tube and clamped it all together.

I can get pictures tomorrow and if your friend wants I can cut my leftover tube so he just needs to buy the elbow, flex connector, and clamps.
