Hi,
I'm selling my top cover, the nice vinyl piece that goes over the cloth when the roof is down. It really makes the car look slick. It's in great shape. Black color, originally on a 96 convertible. I'm in south Chicagoland. I'd like $30 for it.

Hello,
My 96 gt vert with 140k miles and a salvage title finally bit the big one. All the engine oil seals are leaking, my CV joints are shot, the windows roll down but not up...the list keeps going.

Bad news for me, good news for you. I never got to put on my invader kit. As I just laid down an eight grand down payment on a new car, I need to scrap my ride and all its parts fast.

Make an offer. It seriously doesn't have to be much at all. I live in Northwest Indiana, about 25 miles southwest of Downtown Chicago. I'd prefer if you picked it up, cause shipping will be annoying. If you live too far away, pay enough, and ask nicely, I can probably ship it though.

Valve Cover Gasket, Cam Seal, Distributor O Rings, Oil Pump, Crank Seal, Oil Pan Gasket.

Anyone need a kidney?

Still got good oil pressure? Some shops can put a harmless dye in the oil and then pretty quickly locate the leak.

Oil pressure is still good, everything is running fine. That's why it was such a surprise. I do notice I have a couple oil spots where I park at night but definately not a pool.

Got my usual oil change today and I was told that my oil was really low. I asked if it had a leak and they said there's a very slow one not coming from any lines or anything, but oil is on the bottom of the engine. Any others have problems like this? Any suggestions/solutions before I take it to a toyota specific shop?

Bought the Invader style bodykit a couple years ago now and still haven't installed it. Don't have the time/money to do anything with my celi so the kit is up for sale. I'd like to get $400 shipped out of it.

I got a group together and we made a really funny video for Youtube. It doesn't have anything to do with cars, but it's pretty interesting anyway. If you want to check it out, here's the link:

Hey, I'm in Louisville, KY. would you be up for meeting halfway or so? I really only want the front, back...I have OEM sideskirts, which I like the most. But it's all up to you. How much?

I'd really rather sell the whole set, but if you won't use the sides, then. . .
We can meet in Indianapolis - almost exactly halfway between Louisville and South Bend. Would 220 be asking too much?

I'm parting with my full bodykit that I bought about 3 years ago but never got around to putting on my celica. It's the invader style front end, side skirts, and rear bumper. Never been installed on anything, it's all ready for installation and painting. Taking offers, will ship or local pickup northern indiana/chicagoland area.

Selling the spoiler that was on my celi when I bought it. It's in great condition, no scars or scuffs or anything, and matches the black paintjob perfectly. The light works fine. You can look at the picture on my page. I installed a different, larger spoiler but this one has a great clean look. Will do local pickup out of South Bend, IN or I can meet in the nearby area, or I can ship too. Taking offers.

The U.S. got hosed, we shoulda got the GT-Four too. I agree the cupholders suck. On my ride in particular, I don't like the the convertable top that only works manually now.

Looks, especially the headlights and the curves behind them on the hood.

I have a manual 96 GT convertable. I live in South Bend, willing to drive to meet. Car details on my member page. Didn't plan on selling, but I'm up for an offer.

about 117 when the governor kicked in. I was only at around 4k rpm's so I'm guessing it could hit 130 easy. That was in my 96 vert before my exhaust and cold air intake upgrades.

I recently bought power window motors for my convertable, but it turned out that my window problem wasn't the motors but a switch instead. They've been tested and both work, so if you're a vert owner and need power to one or both of your rear windows, name your price.

youre my savior, wher did you find this treasure. Im off to the dealer tomorrow. by the looks of it, they sell the whole plate, rather than the little plastic things. This is going to be expensive.....thanks....

I have some spare window plates I can sell you for a vert 6th gen. Let me know if you still need them.

it only happens when the weather is particularly cold (around freezing and below) or sometimes when there's a lot of rain or humidity. Would the weather affect the ISC valve?

I have a 96 convertable from Tennessee but now it's in Northern Indiana, and with colder weather and sometimes high humidity or rain, when I start up, the RPM's drop, the engine rumbles shakes and sputters and sometimes even shuts off. When I turn the key again, it almost always starts back up without an issue. Also, if I keep my foot on the gas, regulating the RPM's around 2k for 10 seconds or so, the rumbling goes away. The engine is a stock USDM engine with 118k miles on it and it gets regular tune ups and oil changes. Any idea what is causing this rumbling and how I may fix it.

Thanks guys!

They keep popping up in my area. Maybe it's the spring weather. I saw a red convertable, black hatchback, blue hatchback, and red ST yesterday...plus my black convertable. That's a lot of 6th gen goodness!

Hey, I have a convertable 6th gen and the driver's side back window stopped going up. Not the one in the door, the one behind the door coming off the quarter panel. I was hoping to buy the new motor and track used, but I was looking at a hatchback celi today and it looked like the back windows don't move. In peeking down at the dash, I saw the controls for the rear window were not there. Do any other 6th gen's besides the convertables have power windows in back?

I live in South Bend, Indiana (about a 2 hour drive east of Chicago, 3 hours south of Detroit)

Not sure how much...it has a couple of issues (rebuilt title, drivers side rear power window is being rebellious) but it's really been a terrific car and drives/runs perfectly. So I guess make an honest offer.
