I'm stumped! Checked all the fuses and checked the battery. They were all fine. But once you turn the key the "brake" light on the dash lights up and the radio and clock dies out. There is just a "click" noise and that's all. May have to take it to the repair shop. I took pics. Will post them soon.

Thanks, I'm going to do that. Don't know why I didn't try to check the fuses before. I'll also try to get some pics up so someone can see if I maybe overlooked something. Thanks again.

Okay, so for those of you who have gotten into accidents where the airbags went off but there was no damage to the engine compartment or any other crucial components, have you had problems getting the car started afterwards? Does anyone have ANY suggestions or advice because I'm stumped.

Alarm, lights, radio... everything works. When you turn the key, nothing happens. Doesn't click or even try to turn over.

Hey guys,. I haven't been on here in over a year. I sold my Celica to my uncle a year and a half ago and on Weds night he hit the center median on the expressway. The front left side of the car is smashed up and the air bags popped, but the car strill looks like it is in relatively good condition. The problem is that the car wont start now. I'm guessing that there is some type of sensor that after the air bags deploy, won't let the car start. Everything in the engine bay is intact, and the battery wasn't damaged. What do I need to do to get the car started again? Thanks for your help.

Sorry guys, I work weekends and on top of that I sold my Celica to a family member who needed it a couple of months ago. And the Celica I bought for my brother got wrecked so he traded it in and bought a van(he has 4 kids). frown.gif

Thanks fanboy95 for contacting me. After a string of bad luck with the car I don't know if I'll be able to make it. My uncle has been "borrowing it" for the last 5 months and last time I saw the car it looked like it was beat to s***. So if I do come I'll probably bring my Malibu. Bitter, I'm on the south side too. You don't have to give me ur address but what are you near?

I'd go too. I let my uncle borrow the Celi because i have two cars and he's had it for about six months. But now I'm selling my other car and getting the Celi back so I would definately go.

I think it's going to be at Soldier's field either Friday or Sat. I heard this on the radio today. Supposedly B96 is supposed to be there after the Scion meet. There are supposed to be prizes for the hottest scion and prizes for other imports too. I think they said T-pain was going to perform a the after party. Anyone going or have any more infor on this. How much is it to go?

What's the name of the Phil Collins song in the new Verizon commercial. I heard a while ago in the store I work at and then I never heard it again. And then I heard it on the Verizon commercial tonight. I searched google and all the lyric sites but I can't seem to find out the name of the song.

Nice pics, but cut that fringe on the front of your skirt. It looks like you've been playing with it.

The least they could have done was block out your license plates.

In Chicago, gas just spiked 20 cents. The cheapest I've seen is $2.45 for reg, $2.55 for super (which is what I put in my car) and $2.65 for premium. And usually, I drive 15 minutes to Indiana and pay 20 cents less, but now it's only 3 cents cheaper. It's not even worth burning the gas to drive there anymore. On top of that, I drive a truck for a living and the price of diesel is $2.65 which makes it almost impossible to make any money so all the employees at my company are going on strike on Monday so that we can get paid more for delivering loads. This is crazy!!! It's only the beginning of spring and prices are getting higher. What's going to happen by mid-summer? I heard in Cali they are already paying close to $3.50.

so i've heard that 96+ turns can easily be fitted into a 94 bumper, is this not true?

I've heard ppl on here say the same thing. They said they just made a hole in the turn signal to fit the one in the 94 bumper. Maybe they were wrong? confused.gif
