So my new celica is leaking oil, and I am pretty sure it is because of a bad oil pan gasket. So today I started to try to take the oil pan out. There seems to be a lot of **** in the way. The pan seems to be tucked under the transmission housing a little bit. So the only way I can figure out how to get the pan out is by dropping a bunch of **** including cross members. Has anyone taken their pan out? What did you have to remove from yours? I have a 95gt by the way, so it has the 2.2L engine in it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So I pulled the motor out and am in the process to testing it. Is there an easy way to test the motor to see if it is working? Also how do you pull apart the housing that holds the gears, I think a gear could also be causing the problem.

Thats what I was thinking, but I can get the sunroof to move a little bit, so does that mean the motor is weak, just not totally dead perhaps?

So I just bought myself a new Celica to replace my old rusting away one. Anyways, I am having some issues with the sunroof. The sunroof will not slide back and when I press the slide button, it seems to be jammed or something and makes a nasty noise. The other problem is that the tilt button seems to do nothing, idk if the fuse is blown for the tilt button or if it is just bad wiring or something. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!
