Yeah got an oil problem, but i got an oil pressure gauge to monitor. I have to refill just before an oil change with half a quart. Yeah the only damage is what's pictured, and replacing the d2 shocks. I'll get some interior shots this afternoon and yeah i was planning on a video where VVT-i engages. Should be a cool video and if it does sell, it'll be a good memory. I LOVE the motor, but i really got to get something more comfortable to drive. The interior is fine, no cracks or tears. I recently steamed cleaned the seats. Pics soon.

The front driver side damage to the bumper, and the driver side rear bumper damage. Sold as is. I have the SSIII splitters but they're not good. The bumper has dirt on it, its not fading paint. The car wasn't greatly washed bc there still a lot of sand on the roads from the snow.

Well i would like to stay, i didn't cause major damage to the bumper its not that bad IMO. I'll post pics after all this snow aftermath from the streets are cleared up, then i can wash and fix the bumper, then take decent pics of what's actually for sale. I'm selling because i need a daily, something more practical for guests. Not that i'm looking to be a Taxi. I'll surely be returning but at this point I would like to sell the current celica to buy something else. Sure do love the BEAMS though...

Originally this car was a white auto GT, but it was swapped to LSD manual Beams. The engine is fairly new, just had it installed maybe a year ago. No problems except for a minor oil leak, i have to refill with half a quart every 3k-4k miles. By then i'm ready to do an oil change. Not sure how many miles is on the motor, but the mechanic who installed the motor said it was looked new internally. I've only used Royal Purple 10w-30. Not sure where the leak is coming from. I have an oil pressure gauge installed to monitor the oil pressure. The body of the car has a small dent on the rear, its going to need a new front bumper with new front SS splitters. I wanted to do a repaint, but the paint on there isn't too bad bc i've waxed it throughout the years i've had this car. A/C and heater both work, all electronics work (windows, sunroof, radio, cd player) for the most part. I am the original owner. Selling as is. I'm selling this as a "track car" bc it will NOT pass emissions.

Couple things that don't work/need replacement:
-rear defroster don't work
-wipers front and rear don't work
-need to replace the d2 cartridges that are on the car. D2's quoted me $120 per cartridge.
-might need new brake rotors soon
-new headlights (they work, but the tabs are broken, and the high beam has a leak that water keeps getting into. They do align with the road though)

I'll add pics soon, we are snowed in right now in TX. The pics in the profile are old pics right after i got it from the body shop. But other than that, it still looks the same.

Before the clutch is pressed down all the way, there is a PSST sound (air), and my clutch is super softer than before. And it harder to get into gear unless i slam on the clutch. I tried to find where the sound is coming from underneath where the pedal is but i can't locate it. Does anyone have any ideas what could be loose or needs to be tightened?

Hey Scott,

I thought about doing the same thing, but i'm still undecided-if i want to keep the car, or if i have time for someone to do a 3sgte. I figure its more complicated with that swap since the tranny and mounts.

I didn't disconnect the plugs. This guy, which he is actually on this board did the swap for me. I don't talk to him anymore because of these reasons. Okay cool thanks for the clarification. I really need it especially here in TX hot heat!
