E1 & TE1? should be the center and bottom towards you DIAGNOSTICS x_x__X__x_x_x x_x_____x_*_x x_x__X__*_x_x X and x = pins * = pins you should short out to get the codes _ of course is just blank space (we cant add more than one space in succession ![]() I will try it again tomorrow and see if I can figure it out. Get your battery checked and make sure your terminals aren't corroded. The terminals and battery are fine. The thing is that the car turns over and will keep going until I press the gas pedal... then it starts up with a crappy idle. you getting fuel into the engine when it won't restart? In all honesty, based on my limited knowledge, I would imagine it to be something fuel related seeing as when I press the pedal it starts... but I don't know. I didn't think that pressing the pedal on newer cars made a difference when the car was off. ![]() do you have any codes? btw, not every code lights the CEL I have no clue... every single time I have tried to pull the codes using the paperclip trick, the CEL comes on and stays on. No flashing whatsoever... Maybe I am doing it wrong. |

Car: 94 GT Manual 300K miles Situation: When starting the car with the engine warm, the engine will turn over and over and over without starting. If I give the car a little gas while turning over, the car will start up, and then have a rough idle for a few seconds and be fine. The odd thing is, if I start the car using this method, turn it off, then try and start the car again immediately it will start up with no issues. If I end up leaving the car for 15-30 minutes (I've timed it) then it doesn't want to start. I don't even know where to begin with this one.... Any suggestions? |

I am putting the stock tails back on my car, so I have a set of JDM Taillights available. They are just about a year old and are still in perfect condition, not missing any of the tabs. All of the connectors are in great shape. (have to recharge my camera before I can post pictures). Asking $200 shipped. Edit: Oh yeah these are hatchback tails. |

281k miles as of a few days ago. My car has been loved quite a bit. Original engine and tranny, although I can hear her begging for a new(er) engine every time I step on it. |

Finally got it!!!! I ended up heating up a wire hanger and using that to get the rubber piece out. Thanks! All the others came out without a problem. I appreciate all of your help! |

These wires are actually being replaced ahead of schedule, so them being old and cracked isn't the problem. I found the long needle nose pliers at the auto parts store, and it helped get the electrode off the end of the spark plug, but I am not having any luck with the rubber piece. I don't know why, but it is not coming out at all. I tried the wire hangar again, tried heating it to pierce the rubber, tried flat head screwdrivers, I've even tried using fondue forks to get that piece out. The best I can do is pry the piece away from the wall, but the bottom seems to be stuck. Does anyone know where I can find any 10 inch tweezers, or forceps? I have one pair, but they aren't long enough to get down there. Thank all you guys for your help so far. |

I tried the needle nose pliers but all the ones I found were either too short, or too wide for the hole. QUOTE(Bitter @ Sep 30, 2007 - 8:47 PM) they make special pliers to grab them actually. spark plug wire pliers. Awesome! I will have to look for those tomorrow. |

So I was doing a tune up on my 94 GT, and as I was changing out the wires on cylinder 2 the wire fell apart. The little rubber boot thing is still down the well around the spark plug. What is the best way to get it out? I don't have any needle-nose plyers that can reach, nor does Lowes or HD have any. I also tried to use a wire hanger to jimmy it out, but nothing. I am out of ideas. Also, any suggestions on how to prevent this from happening again? Thanks |

If you decide to part it out, I would like the driver side power window motor and actuator. Let me know how much you want for it. Thanks! |

If the exhaust noise level violates the local noise regulations, then the cops will hassle you for it. I had a modified Mx-6 for years, and never got pulled over due to the exhaust (speeding on the other hand... ![]() |

I found an engine set online that comes with the Engine, 5sp tranny, ECU, uncut wiring harness, ignitor, distributer, alternator, starter, A/C Compressor, and power steering pump. Aside from a new Clutch/Flywheel, am I missing anything necessary for the swap? |
