thanks for the advice, had quote for new shocks fitted for £500.
Looks like i'll have to fit myself.

I was hoping to find another vehicle which had same shocks that i might be able to source for a better price.

Thanks again for the advice.

Hi Everyone

I need to replace the shocks on my 99 1.8SR.

Coilovers are too expensive for me but was thinking if there are any other car models that have the same shocks as my Celica ??

Sorry if this has been asked before, did search but to no avail.

As always any help much appreciated.

Regards

Hi All

The other day i had to jack the car up to change the front wheel, i noticed that the rear tyre was off the ground way BEFORE the front.

Yes i did have the jack at the front jacking point.

When i did the other side of the car this didn't happen.

Does this mean i have a different suspension setup ffrom one side to the other ??

I've only had the car a short while so don't know it's maintenance history.

Regards

Hi
I have a SR with the original Momo alloys, they're fitted with 205/55 x16 tyres but i've read elsewhere they should be 205/50 x16 tyres.

Can anyone confirm which is correct ?

I guess a '50' would offer less flex in the side wall but probably more expensive.

Any guidance much appreciated.
Thanks

Thanks for the response

The driver side one has moved but can't get the passenger one to move. So sounds like a stripdown.

hi
Tried adjusting headlight low beam adjustment.
Been turning adjuster screws but nothing happening.
Even using a socket set and turning loads either left or right doesn't make any difference

Any help much appreciated.

Russ
