Hi!
This is not in any way dangerous, and it is safe to drive with your car. To solve the problem, you have to add some copper ease (high temperature grease) to the back of your brakepads. This wil eliminate the vibration for the brakepads to stop the squealing. Oh, and you might notice that when you have braked some, ie the pads have become warm, the sound maybe gone?

It should jiggle a bit, when you put your wheel on, it will be tight.

Your amps should have a remote wire connected to +12V on your cd player/head unit. The amps will then power up when you turn your key one "step" in the ignition.

The multimeter is fused, so the 10A means that it has a 10A fuse. I guess you have a 200 mA fuse where you have the VΩmA port. So, connect the red lead to the 10A port first to check if the draw is higher than 200mA, if not, you can connect the red lead to the 200 mA port. The black lead goes to port COM. Set the dial on the multimeter to ADC 10A first. You can clamp the black lead to the battery negative post, and the red one to the negative lead cable. Then start pulling fuses and you can see wich circuit that has the draw. Hope this helps smile.gif

Thanks for all the replies. I haven't been able to check the mounts yet, but I was out driving today and if i let go of the throttle fast at let's say 3000rpm I heard the clunk and the car makes a little hump. This happends in every gear. I tried starting the engine and look at it when i sat in the car, but I couldn't say that it shakes alot. I also tried to rev it a bit, but it didn't shake just move a bit.

I said it happens more often when the car is cold, but that could be just me. Are motor mounts expensive? Can I check it myself?

I hear a clunk when I put my Celica in gear and let of the clutch. I just wanna hear if somebody got a quick dianose for this problem. It kinda sounds like when you release the clutch quickly. It happens more often when the car is cold. It can also happen if I let go of the throttle quickly. Could it be bad axels, motor mounts?

My fockford fosgate amp did that. After about 5 mins it would shut down, no sound at all..I was like confused.gif It turned out to be the cables I used for a set og 6x9. The cables was too thin, some bundle stuff. So I upgraded the cables and the problem went away
