While you're at it, you can go ahead and mention how I didn't directly say in my original post that she was committed after the arrest, quote some other law that I'm sure you learned about somewhere because you're dazzlingly smart like that.

Oh yeah, and I'm probably wrong about how much experience you have, because this ChE degree is probably your 6th undergrad degree. In fact, I'm probably all around wrong about everything. You probably grew up with a bipolar family member and have experienced this and more for years now, hence the experience. You probably have your graduate degree in Physc. I'm really happy for you.

While you're at it, make a few insanely smart comments about how stupid I am and how you're not going to grace this thread with your comments any more. That way, you'll rise above it all.

Insult me personally, and generally make me look like a generally wet behind the ears, fresh faced, momma's boy who knows nothing and who has experienced nothing. After all, God forbid that anyone think you just another normal human being. You're special that way.

That way, everybody will still respect and applaud you when you make asshole comments about people who have mental problems. People will just let it slide because everybody knows that you're just kidding. Nobody will care that it was an asshole thing to say, or that it was rude and insensitive. That was a real dick thing to say from somebody who is obviously ignorant about a lot of ****. Since you obviously don't know, let me tell you what it's like to live with a bipolar family member.

First, there's the "coming out" episode. For our family, it started with the 4 hour dissappearance of my (then) 19 year old sister.

When we finally found her, she was incoherant in all ways, aggressive, and extremely delusional. This continued for 4 days as we attempted (without success) to get her into the overflowing mental health system. Nobody would see her because they were already overflowing.

Well, after about 4 days of physcosis, things came to a head when she jumped out a window at 4 AM and was arrested for disorderly conduct, booked, and jailed, all as my 50 year-od mother watched sobbing incoherantly, feeling completely responsible because this kind of thing is genetic, and it came from her side of the family.

I, being 17 at the time, was my sister's best friend and the only one she trusted. I rode to the police station in the back of the car with her, was escorted into the basement with her, and was the last one to see her before she dissappeared into the holding cells.

That was 3 years ago. Now, she has been stabilized with heavy medication. That's just great too. She no longer has energy, she is dissastisfied with her body image because of how much the meds slow her metabolism down, she no longer has the clearness of thought to have in-depth discussions about much of anything. She does OK in school, being a Journalism major, and spends all of her spare time devoted to her 2 horses. This is another side affect of the "coming out episode." She retains a pseudo-deusion that nobody but her can be trusted to take care of them.

I could go on for days about the little ways that she has changed and will never be the same, but this is so long already that most people will probably skip right over it, so I'll conclude with this thought.

But no. I don't really dig it. One thing that really attracted me to Celicas is that 4 light combo, and the lines of the hood just flow so well into those 2 front lights. I think it would look wrong without them.
