QUOTE(Bitter @ Aug 2, 2006 - 3:48 PM)

they dont need to be touching the ignition timing when doing a timing belt, vavle timing and ignition timing are different. it sounds like maybe they didnt get the cam and crank aligned correctly.

I really hope they did aligned everything correctly, because that sounds like I wont be able to fix anything without emptying my wallet.

I also talked to another mechanic, who said that it might be the timing problem...

I have a little problem with my top speed, and how the car accelerates. I had my timing belt changed just resently, the damn thing snapped when I was going on a highway, thank God the valves weren't bent, so I payed about 400 dollars for the repair.

Now however when the car accelerates and reaches 4500rpms, the motor does not go any further, and it feel like it brakes the car (you know like when you go downheel, when your car is still in gear, you dont give your car anough gas, so the engine brakes the car), it feels exactly like that, only much stronger.

I've been thinking about it, and I think when they put in a new timing belt they put it on too tight or something, so it does not allow the car go above 4500rpms, also I remember they were messing around with ignition timing, that could also be a problem. What do you guys think?

NC is a little far, but sure, I wouldn't mind talking to your friend. He has his own designs, or does he do customs?

Oh and the side graphic that you have, was it all one piece or was it all put together from smaller ones?

I just checked on the internet the vinyl roll price, and damn, it's expensive.

Has anyone tried to make their own vinyl/graphics? I tried to look for some for sale on the internet, but most of them look awful.

If yes, what kind of materials did you use, and how did you do it. Or maybe just give me a link to some of the nice ones that are sold on the net.

Want to find a cold air intake for my 94 Cel GT. Maybe one of the members is selling one. If not, the cheapest one I could find is on Ebay. Link

Is it worth the money, or should I just get cheaper no cold intake.
