Sadly i have to sell my 6gc.
Heres the info
It has 268672 miles.. Ive owned the car since march 2013. I got it with 245000. It has never given me any serious issues. Ive taken it for 2 hr trips it never failed on me.
Pros:
I purchased all four tires brand new in oct 2014. Hankook ventus 2 concept.
Oz racing wheels 17". Plasti dipped black some of it is peeling its been on there for more than a year.
Replaced the alternator dec 14.
Also changed the battery 2/15.
Has a pyle watch dog alarm.
A kenwood aux player.
Cons:
It has a dent on the front left fender.
For some unknown reason it leaks coolant from somewhere around the oil pan. It only leaks it out when the ac is turned on. I never turn it on for this reason.
Bad rear sturts. But in the pictures you'll see that i'll include some kys g-2 excel that i planned to put on.
Brakes squeel a bit.
Passenger side window doesnt go down only from driver side switch.

Im looking to get $1000 firm. I trust this car alot. And i feel bad for letting it go but i cant keep it anymore i have another i recently got.
Plates expire sep 15. Oil changed was done about 1500 miles ago. I do it every 3k. Pink on hand! Its a steal you are getting a good price i already invested the money into the car.

You can contact me at 3107480483.
Im located in LA, Ca 90011 area code.

Ill add pictures tmw. Since its late right now. I can send some thru text if anyone contacts me right now.

The location of this leak seems to somewhere on top of the,oil pan? It drips a little while the car is on and leaks way more while its off. I lose somewhat a lot of coolant. And its just very annoying. Any one know where it might be coming from? I got under the,car and saw drops dripping off from the top of the oil pan but its very hard to see from the bottom and top of the car. My engine is a 1.8 if that matters.

The best advice i ever got for finding fluid leaks is clean everything up. It will be so much easier. Jack the car up, removing the plastic panels and such, and washing the entire underneath of the engine, tranny, oil pan etc, all of that stuff with DAWN DISHWASHING SOAP! Shoot it down with water, and repeat. Once you have that done, or before you have it done, go pick up some oven cleaner from walmart. Any foam degreaser/cleaner will work. You can even use scrubbing bubbles foam cleaner. I prefer it since it has more in the can and smells a lot more pleasant than oven cleaner. let it sit for a good 15 minutes and come back and scrub it with a wet brush, the foam will be gone but you'll see all the caked on oil and dirt dripping onto the ground.

Once its clean you'll be able to find exactly where its leaking from within a day or two!

My battery light also came on yesterday. I replaced the alternator around 2 months ago. The lights blinks rapidly when I'm stopping and is,solid when im accelerating. I went to autozone and the battery was "too low" too test it. What could it be? Battery taking a dump on me?

Doesn't the battery light being on mean the car is using more power than what the alternator is supplying? Id get the alternator tested, and let them recharge your battery for an hour or so to test it afterward (don't try recharging a dead battery from an alternator, trust me i killed 2 of them this way because I'm an idiot and i didn't read the big label on the alternator install guide...) . If the alternator is bad they'll be able to tell you in about 20 minutes if they aren't too busy. Then if its bad, go ahead and buy a new one and give them the old one and install it while you wait for your battery to be charged.

That is exactly what the mechanic where i work at said to do. To wash the entire engine bay of the car. Ill be doing this as soon as i get some free time. Thanks for your help man ! The alternator was shot. I fixed that already. I had just purchased it about 2 months ago and it crapped out on me in so little time. And the leak is coolant not oil.
