It is not overheating, there is no codes. The Temp gauge just gets over the halfway mark and it shuts off, so unless the temp gauge is way off it shouldnt be over heating. Its a 94 gt with a 3rd gen 3sgte |

Ok, same buddy having different problems. Whenever he is driving, and it gets up to a certain temperature (just over halfway on the gauge), the engine will just shut off, and will not restart until it cools down. But if you run the heater, it takes awhile before it shuts off. Any ideas? |

Well turns out that aligning a celica sucks major butt. add to it that they put bolts in the wrong places with different nuts. I just did the max spec align. which is -1.3 camb in the front, and spec toe all the way around. Last time I do that. |

Ok, got my buddys 3rd gen 3sgte running good now. Its only pulling .8 bar, I havnt touched the boost controller, but I was just wondering what the stock boost is supposed to be. and Right now the intercooler piping for the front mount is in shambles. Its all silicone bends connected together, and the routing puts it right next to the exhaust. He is going to buy new piping, and since im installing it, I need an estimate on what pipes he needs, and the best way to route the piping, preferably with pics. We need you to get this beast running good again! P.S. I gave up on my other buddys swap, he is just too cheap, this guy has money ![]() |

Ok, so my buddy just got a 94 with a 3rd gen swap. The guy who had it previously removed the w2a and added a front mount, but didnt finish doing all the wiring. So, what exactly do you need to do electrically with removing the w2a? |

ok, just got done extending the harness and all that fun stuff. I know where all the connectors go except for two. There is that blue one with just 4 wires going into it. But the big question is the big white one. I got the harness with both connector ends hooked up and the other end was cut off, so I dont know where it is supposed to go. I will have pics tomorrow, sry if i dont have them now. |

Im still doing the 3s swap into a 95 ST, and was wondering how to hook up the radiator hose from the new motor to the ST radiator. Both the inlet and outlet hoses or on the drivers side of the radiator. Do I need a diff radiator? The AWD one wont fit. |

I am in the middle of a swap for my cheap friend, and the 5th gen mounts will not work unless u do a bit of sheet metal fabrication. It is a huge headache and not worth the time to try and get those mounts to work. Just buy the GT mounts. |

QUOTE(lagos @ Mar 9, 2006 - 11:13 PM) what tranny is it? note, that only 2 bolts are used to secure that bracket to the block. use blue locktite on it, also. I have no idea what trannie it is. Its off of a 2.2L. The carrier bearing I have was the rear engine mount on the camry. there are two really tiny holes that line up, but those cant be it? I need pics anyone? |

QUOTE(lagos @ Mar 9, 2006 - 9:46 PM) you probably have to do the same thing you do with the 5sfe tranny. remove one of the intake manifold stays, and use those holes. no, thats not it. NONE of the holes line up. not a one. I have to remove the intake bracket anyway, but it still doesnt work. Is there no carrier bearing that fits? Do I have to hack the one I have now? Cuz thats gunna suck. |

QUOTE(Supersprynt @ Mar 9, 2006 - 8:57 PM) What axles are u using? And can you be more specific about why it wont work, like the bearing doesnt line up with the bolt holes? Im using the axles out of the camry, and yes, the bolt holes on the bearing do not line up with the ones on the block. |
