i don't quite get how brakes lock up just like that confused.gif could you give me more details on that plz?

(p.s. it's brakes, not breaks) wink.gif

well i am not 100% sure how it happened, but i know i slammed on them going about 30-35mph and the car made no response to stopping (nor were there any marks in the road). And then the steering pretty much was shot so i am not sure kindasad.gif

maybe i will do a video of the road or atleast pictures

$6600 my a$$...if its all just cosmetic damage w/ no frame/suspension damage u can fix that right up cheaper with a kit, aftermarket fenders, maybe new rims. i'd say $2k maybe a lil' over to fix ur ride right up. i got into an accident once with my old car back in the day and the insurance company quoted the damage at $5k and i had it fixed at a local shop, nice owner for 1 grand.

bboy

They say i bent the u-frame (or whatever it called.) They also told me the control arms are bent too. I forget what else but the guy told us, but its quite a bit kindasad.gif

hope you are OK physically. i know it can take a few days and then...WHAM!! you are sore in places you didn't even know existed. wink.gif looks like you weren't going too fast and the stop sign peeled your fender back. let's hope for no frame/suspension damage. chin up Cameron. i think we're all pulling for you and hope you can keep it on the road. nobody likes to hear of another Celi hitting the boneyard.

thanks. We called insurance and we're gonna try to get it back together. I guess i shouldn't feel too bad about it cause things happen i am told. My buddies and my brother think this could be an excuse to completely restyle my car. After i replace the control arm ^^; i was surprised i did that much damage. thank goodness the airbags didn't deploy

i'm sorry to hear about your celi, and i hope you are okay!

thanks. and i am 100% ok, though i won't be taking my car to prom frown.gif my dad says i can drive his accord. so things are already looking up smile.gif

frown.gif tonight my brakes locked up or something like that. Cause i remember being unable to stop my car traveling at about 35mph and i crashed the front of my car, the airbags didn't depoly but i think its done some serious damage now i need to replace the front bump drive side fender. I hit a stop sign but its perfectly alright, and a curb too which flattened my tire. I am so depressed about that. It all happen so fast and my celi started smoking and i was hoping i woke up...so my bumper and alot on the driverside like the light hinge and fog light . And a list of other things including the radiator. I feel like a wreck.... frown.gif

I sort of stumbled upon it. Cause I've heard of Sol Society for those Del Sol owners, and whatever the Supra site was called. And not to mention a bunch more. So i thought "Hey I wonder if they have one for my car?"

I never get pulled over just followed frown.gif . Like I'll be sitting at a stop light and make a turn and the cop will follow me for a little bit then turn off. Like one day I seriously went to work (A 5min drive) and two different cops practically escorted me >_>. I swear cops in my town are bored, not many crimes to take care of...

Though , my brother just got pulled over a few days ago $192 ticket for doing 88 in a 45. And he's looking at a potential 5 points on his license.

I guess theres one good thing about living in Iowa, 89 octane with the ethanol is a lot cheaper than the 87 usually about 10 cents, we're at about 2.68 - highest we've been in a long time.

Wow. frown.gif

I wish mine was that cheap, right now the nearest gas station is at $3.12 for 87

i just got my tire fixed a few days ago (it had a nail in it.) I think its just better to have a shop plug it ,cause that way less likely for you to make mistakes(in my opinion). Cause if you compare $15 to the cost of replacing the tire then its not so bad to spend the extra $11 biggrin.gif

How's the gameplay? I'm thinking about buying it.

I'm wondering the same question.

And does anyone know. Will it be cheaper to get my cousin (who's going to be in japan) to buy it then ship it here?

My favourite thing is its one of my dreams cars and i happen to own it. And i also like how its a break from the civics and eclipses that cruise around town. I think i am youngest celica driver in my town. So i feel special when people ask me about my car. (Being that its stock) lol biggrin.gif

I'll go with black smile.gif
Since you've got a black interior.

I agree. I think the black would be a much better, it seems to be subtle yet look good, cause i dunno red would look too loud and grey well it just doesn't seem to do much.

Would a supra spolier fit a celica??

From my uneducated guess i would say no, because the supra's rear is bigger than the celica's (Correct me if i am wrong.) But i do know in fact that Erebuni makes a supra styled spoiler and i think a few other companies do also, off the top of my head i do not remember which one(s).
