As the title states i am looking for a 6GC Coupe. importantly i am looking for one with a clean title and in good condition. i have a really awesome project i am looking to start but i am looking for a good donor car and having a hard time finding one. motor condition is not that important although i would prefer a running 2.2L. transmission also doesn't matter too much but a manual is preferred. i am willing to travel some for a good car at the right price. please let me know what you have or if you have seen one! thanks all!

Thanks but yes i am dead set on a coupe. the curren front end just doesn't look as good on a hatchback.

unfortunately my last project car got broken into and vandalized so it totaled it out and i didn't want my finished car to have a salvaged title. im looking for a coupe with a good body(front end damage is OK) and interior in good shape. power windows and locks is a must! a running car would be preferred but not a must. located in Roanoke VA but im willing to drive a decent ways to pick it up.

let me know if there is anything out there!

I have just removed my 5sfe motor and trans out of my 94 celica. it ran great while it was in the car but it does need a new clutch. I am including all the accessories and most of the stuff in the engine bay with it. I also have the front bumper and fenders (mild damage but fixable). $100 for everything, for individual parts just bring me a six pack of craft beer. I don't want to sit on this so if I don't have someone for it by this weekend its going to the scrap yard. I figured I would offer it up to someone on here first! the engine was removed because I have big plans for the car! I can take pictures if need be, but id rather not because we all know what a motor looks like....

thank you for posting this^^^ I did not want to have to explain all that..

OP, listen I was just chiming in on a topic I happened to know a little about. I thought I could inform you on something that could potentially cost you or another person a lot of money. it is not my job to research and plead a case to convince you. I know about these, if you thought what I said could be important to you it would be your job to research it.

unfortunately this is a problem with people, especially the youth of today. no one can take criticism or even discuss a topic with opposing views to potentially enlighten both participants. instead everyone gets angry takes it as a personal attack and becomes confrontational and therefore nothing gets accomplished. I have nothing invested in your car, and could not care less if or to whom you sell this. I just thought I could spread a little knowledge on a forum with people of similar taste in cars.

I don't mean to crap on your thread, but those pulleys are terrible for your motor. the OEM one is balanced with your crank and this one is not so it can cause unwanted vibrations through your crank and wipe out bearings. the only safe aftermarket crank pulleys to use are ones with built in dampeners to absorb vibrations. don't get me wrong some people can run these for years and never have an issue, but I have seen these wipe bearings in too many motors so for me its not worth the risk.

I am converting my rear end to a ST205, so I will have the brakes of my car soon. it is a 94 GT with disc brakes. shipping may be kind of expensive as the parts are pretty heavy.

im really confused by this post... im using my oem st202 brake lines with SS front suspension and ST205 brakes with no problems... and even if they didn't work I would just make my own braided lines because its REALLY easy to do, and cheap.... whys is this a thread?

Keep an eye on craigslists, that's where I found my curren clip. You could also talk to an importer and see if they can find you one.

ive been looking for about 6 months... and all the importers I have called were no help frown.gif
