ok, so i plan on upgrading my sub to an infinity 12" sub. right now i have an alpine amp that pushes 220rms. my two options that i was thinking are as follows.

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-62134s1Q0tP/c...&I=1081250W

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-62134s1Q0tP/c...;i=1081242W#Tab

The first one i would run my 2-channel amp bridged which would give me 220 watts RMS to the single voice coil.
The second one i would run my 2-channel amp with 160 watts RMS to each of the two voice coils.

so my question is, which set-up will give me strong bass and clean sound. keep in mind, i plan on upgrading to a more powerful amp when money is more available. sorry if this is a noob question, i just don't know which is a better set-up. Also, is there any other way i could wire up the dual voice coil? again, i have no experience with them, but i would love to have one if it will produce great sound.

Thanks in advance guys.

Also, i was planning on buying the stuffing for the box, and i was wondering if anybody has had any experience with this. does it work. is it worth the like $12.

Thanks again.

if you want to wire it to a 12V source that will turn off when the car is off, do what i did. Go to Autozone and get this thing called a "add a circuit". i then plugged that into my wiper blade fuse spot by my steering wheel. then just run the wired to your neons. will always go on adn off with the car then.

the "resonator" is the mid muffler that comes stock on our cars. now you can also get aftermarket resonators that will allow you to have much more sound coming out of your magnaflow

i have the same muffler and honestly, just replacing the rear muffler while leaving the stock mid muffler in will get you very little change in sound. it is a little louder, but nothing really impressive. me, i took out the stock mid muffler after puting on the magnaflow and it did make it much louder, but i also get a "pop" when i let off the gas sometimes. so, it's really up to you. the best souding thing i found when doing all my muffler work was just the mid muffler by its self, but i already had the magnaflow and didn't want to feel i wasted the money.lol
so whatever you may do, i hope my 2 cents has helpout out some.

hey guys. what are some good coilovers out there that aren't like super expensive. i was thinking about getting some dropzone 1.5 drop springs for like $80, but i'm worried about the winters here in illinois. we tend to get some big snows everyonce in a while. any help would be awesome. thanks

what is your ride quality like. did it suffer from getting new springs and not struts? i just don't wnat to have a lowered car that rides like crap

ok, so i plan on possibly lowering my 95 GT with the dropzone 1.5" dro springs. my question is, how necessary is it to get new struts? also, what size and or brand is the best to get on a fairly small budget. i'm not looking to speed lots of money, in fact if i find it will cost a fortune to get the struts, i probably won't lower it at all.

i did the same as Hoe just without the remote. all that means is that i have a wire and switch coming into the cockpit. but if you go that rout, they have detailed instructions that make it impossible to mess up. all you have to do for the "acessary" wire is tap into your power for your low beams so that the fogs will go off when you turn on your brights.

i'm pumped, rain or shine, this is going to be awesome. i've been waiting for a time to see some other celis. there aren't hardly any around here, and when you do see one and wave, the people don't even look at you. definitely not celi people.

i'll bring my small one if no one else can, but it would definitely be better if someone could bring a larger one. i can probably only fit 4 burgers on mine.

it sounds good. the actual chamber for the sub is bigger than specs, but it still hits hard for a 200w sub. i'm pretty happy with the overall outcome, especially for this being the first time i have ever made a box. i am thinking about sometime replacing teh 10' with a 12' bc i have the chamber room and it would be awesome to have a 12'.
