Thanks for the Quick replys. What about the clutch? Im not wanting to do and engine swap. Just a little extra power from the stock stuff. Has anyone broke a rod or a piston? Who has made the most power out of the stock 5SFE? |

Whats up im new here. Just got a 1997 GT 2.2L. Im trying to figure out what motor I have. Im pretty sure its the 5SFE. Im thinking about putting some boost on it. How much POWER can the stock motors hold? 250HP 300HP? I have built a few custom turbo kits so this would be no problem for me, I just dont want to break it. I got this car for a killer deal, but the clutch it smoked.
