I tried searching on here but didnt find all that much. I was on the gas pretty hard and at about four thousand rpm the gas just cut off completely and the car idled very rough barely running while my car came to a stop. Now when I try to start it seems to cranks good but there’s a weird exhaust type sound I never heard and I can’t get it to start at all. Timing belt also seemed sort of loose but I don’t know if that the problem. I was just seeing if anyone had any idea's on things I could do to figure out what needs replaced or to be done. I’m thinking the fuel pump or timing but I thought timing it would start and just run rough. There’s no response from hitting the gas and I thought I’d also say I recently replaced the vacuum pump so I know it’s not that.

Any help here would be much appreciated because I really don’t want to have to get it towed to the garage.

Well I didn’t get much help from everyone so I took it to the garage. I just thought I'd post quick to tell you what the problem was in case anyone’s experiencing the same thing. They replaced the vacuum pump and EKG valve.

Took the idle air control sensor out and cleaned it and it didn’t help. Tried fuel injector cleaner to and it didn’t help. Problems starting to get worse and I'm worried it might end up breaking down sometime soon on me. If anyone could give some possible things it could be id really appreciate it, I don’t want to spend the money to take it to the garage.

For about six months now my car has been trying to stall out on me when I stop at stop signs, but only doing it about two times a day. To fix it I simply rev my engine past 3000 rpm and it idles normal again. Also every time I come down route 15 going 70 for about 20 minuites, it never fails to stall when I come to the stop sign at my exit. I'm not sure but to me it seems like my idle air control valve or something’s like that is getting stuck. I'd appreciate it if someone could give me some advice on if that sounds like the problem or not. Also I'm not sure where my idle air control valve is and I’d like to try to clean it if that is the problem so if someone could help me out on how to do that I’d appreciate it.

Recently I picked up a thermostat from Avanced auto for my 1994 Celica GT. Its to big to fit where the other one is so I was wondering what the part number would be for this part. They said thats its the only one kind that they had for my car and it doesnt look like the ones they have for the ST would fit either so I'm not sure what the problem is and I'm having a hard time finding the part number for the thermostat in my car so I soppose thats all I need if someone could help me out?

Last month I hit something in my friends driveway and it bend my fender pretty bad. Right now I'm pretty sort on money and didnt have enough to get it fixed anywhere. I took a hammer to it and bend it out so it looks better but now Im still missing paint and starting to get rust there. What are my options for painting it for pretty cheap(by myself) being that I have no experience with painting. I dont want to repaint the whole fender just the bottom part as shown in the picture if at all possible. Also is there anyway of fixing the dent anymore since thats all the better I could get it with a hammer?

Its a thing that makes my neons go to the music. I mounted it there and it didnt look right just sitting in there so I cut out a plastic peice to go around it and painted it.
Also with the Drive and play it mounted very easily and the cords where very easy to run the way that I mounted it. Its just glued on. The only thing is that you sould make sure you have aux hookups in the back of your headunit because from what I heard the fm transmitter stuff with the drive and play doesnt work that well for alot of people. I love it because of the controls you have to change the song since you dont have to look at it. I had it mounted on my upper dash but the wires were to hard to run but that was great to be able to change songs and not take your eyes off the road.

I was rotating my tires today and went to put it down when noticed what looks to be a bushing or something...I feel a little knock manybe in the floor but it might be the tread on the tires or something. Heres two pictures of it and any info would be great. Also I wanted to mention that it could have been one of my little cuz's that threw something under there idk...but it really seems as if it came from something on my car considering it wasnt sitting under it before

At this point in time and probably for awhile I dont have all that much money to spend and I really want to lower my car. My 94 GT has 165,000 miles on it...(I know alot). I am really thinking about buying teins springs for it but I dont want to buy new shocks for it. Is it possible i could get away with just buying the springs for it, and if not what is the worst thing that could happen and need to be replaced if if i were to just buy the springs. Also with the springs would I have to buy any kits for it for installation or could I just buy the springs. Sorry if this one has been asked before but I couldnt find anything and wanted to be more specific about my situation.

About a half a year ago I bought indigo gauges for my car. I was just wondering if anyone else has had a problem with them burning out or something like that. I've checked all my wires to them and everything and nothing seems to help. They started flickering on and off and now they just go dim after I have them on for more then 10 minutes. I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone and if theres a way to fix it or do I just have to buy new ones??

Sorry if this has been asked before but I was having trouble finding it. I've been looking for awhile now at painted interiors and I've seen plenty of pictures and think i finally decided on what colors to do and what parts to do. I was wondering if some people could tell what kind of paint to use. What brands and stuff and were could I find these paints at? Also what prep work would need to be done if any in order for it to look good. Will I have to primer it, or sand it, or anything of that sort?

Today I took my calipers off and from what the powdercoating person I'm going to said I had to take the calipers apart complety. I took them apart and removed the seals and stuff and honestly I dont think its going to go back together to easily. I was just wondering if any of you have done this. If so I was wondering what all I'm going to have to do and if its going to be extremly hard???
