Where is it likely to place the "box" for an aftermarket alarm? And it shouldn't be two horns in my car orginally, some one must of add it, right?

Thanks for the replays!

I checked in my engine bay, and I have two horns mounted there. One to the left on the upper part of the cooler, and one to the right in the bottom area of the cooler. Is it two orignally, or could one of them been added? I couldn't really see if they looked the same, but I think one of them was just a little bigger.

Couldn't find any box underneath the drivers seat though!

Added a picture of the LED lamp, and it's only a bulb and not a button! I did disconnect the neg battery cabble today and nothing happend at all, and never has!

The picture on the LED lamp/bulb (what should I call it?)

Hello!

I have a toyota celica ST version, 1995 year modell and is imported from Italy to sweden were I live! My problem, or lack of knowledge, is that I can't figure out what the red LED diod is for! It's positioned on the left to my steeringwheel, a little to the right above the hood opener! I wonder if I perhaps have an alarm installed on my car? I only got one key to the car when i bought it, no remote or anything like that..

Would be so thankfull if anyone could help ease my curiousity!

Hello!

I want to reset my Air/Fuel Mixture Ratio, as in the how-to-do article, but don't know which fuse is which;

"If you've noticed lately your car has been running awkward or idling at very low rpms or even idling roughly, then your ECU needs to be reset. It is also a good idea to reset your ECU if you've added any performance mods like headers, intake, exhaust; doing this will let you take full advantage of your mods and reset your Air/Fuel mixture ratio so that you can get more horsepower and better gas mileage.

Here's how to reset your ECU. First, start your car and let it warm up. When it's reached it normal operating temperature, turn the car off. Then, pop the hood and remove the Relay Fuses box cover and remove the following fuses: The Hazard fuse, the EFI fuse, and the ECU fuse. Take them out and leave them sit out for 1 minute. Then when the minute is up, put the fuses back in and start up your car. At this time the ECU is being reset so you can take advantage of your mods and get better gas mileage. When you start it up, let it run for exactly 10 minutes, then turn your car off. then start it again and you wil notice your car idle better and from that point on you will now have better gas mileage and your mods will be put to use"

So to my question: How do you know which fuse that is the The Hazard fuse, the EFI fuse, and the ECU fuse?
Don't have any manual so can't look there.

Hey!

I'm new here and have som questions I hope to get answered! ( I'm A 18 year old boy from Sweden if anyone's asking... So don't be to upset if my language isn't what it some times should be.. )

So, just bought my self an 6gc -95, yesterday (payed for every penny myself, so not some spoiled brat! ). It's some distance from me though so I won't be able to get until later on in about 2 week's.

-->However, it's the 1,8 liter engine and it has started to get me a bit conserned.. Is it really that slow as everybody here seem to think it is? Haven't seen, or driven it jet so i have no clue what it's capable of. Fun to drive?.. It's my first car and expectations are high.. And if it really are that slow, are there any relatively sheap ways to tune it up a bit, except addig a turbo?

And so I have one more question; How much does the car weigh ?! I have scanned all the internet for some answers but can't find any! I now the fifth generation weigh around 1350 kg, but I guess our's are less heavier, right?

Hope you can help me out, would mean a lot to me smile.gif.
take care!
