Here's RockAuto: https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/toyota,...sion,strut,7584 Checked Amazon and eBay with part numbers and seems RA is least for a full set, plus can Google for the 5% discount code too. I was looking for something that's complete. Like quick-struts. |

So, it's about that time. I'm trying to find complete strut kits. I'd like to go Monroe, like Scotty Kilmer from Youtube, but I cant seem to find any actual online places to purchase them. If anyone can post links to OEM or OEM-replacement complete kits, that'd be great. I need all 4... so... yeah. Ive got a '94 AT200 Hatch if that makes a difference. I would get the $630 CX racing coilovers from ebay, but I dont want to change the ride height or spring rates, I just want stock. |

I own a 94 ST. The so-called Toyota street bodies obviously match perfectly. All I do to match mine is throw a chrome decepticon decal underneath the Toyota badges, make a vinyl for my IL plate, and another vinyl to make the aftermarket sunroof. Apply a metallic paint job and finely tune it to match Baltic blue. Then I toss in the generic 4cyl turbo rally engine and race transmission so I can tune the gears, do a pseudo-turbo delete, and make 5th and 6th gear unusable so it's alike the 4 speed. Then i modify the AWD diff to only apply power to the front wheels. I then match my real tire's specs and a set of similar rims to match mine. Obviously, this game still recognizes it to be in a way higher class than it's supposed to be, so I just use it to cruise around in freeroam since winning races is near impossible on the hardest drivatar difficulty. I'll then make a GT-Four Castrol and just about max out the upgrades to keep up with the inevitable Lamborghinis and GTRs when I play campaign. Does anyone know if there was an elaborate market for 6th gen Celica boy kits that Turn10 will finally get in touch with so we're not stuck with the same old Varis crap? |

Anyone pumped to replicate their very own 6th gen celica in the upcoming Forza Horizon 3? I guess this thread could be used to list paint codes, upgrade packages, and so forth once the game comes out. I have always drooled over those sexy curves, and been blown away by the accuracy of every detail. Australia looks like a gorgeous place for my baby to roam around in. Post your thoughts, hype, and general feedback! I'm pretty well informed about the series and current news so I can answer questions if you have any. |

It's nice to see the responses I got from y'all. I definitely have been eyeing some 91 Supras, it's nice to plan 20 years ahead I guess LOL. And at that point, my Celica could sit in a garage as part of a slowly growing collection since it probably won't be worth anything in 2036. Damn am I optimistic. |

So, I bought a '94 Celica (check my profile for pics) 2 years ago. I was fresh out of highschool, got me a small part time job, and purchased one of my most prized possessions. Not only is this car the largest and most important decisions I have ever made, but this is what fuels my passion for cars. Finally owning one. I've had my first girlfriend with this car. And my first break up. I've gone out on stupid night racing this thing up and down backroads with friends. I've also spent a bit money on the car. This car was bought (arguably overpriced) with 50000 miles on the odo. Since then, I now have 64500 and have completely replaced all of the original brake lines, replaced the original plugs and wires (how did they survive???), new distributor since my battery came loose and broke it off one unfortunate night, upgraded the speakers, bought some rims + tires, and last but not least - the exhaust needs to be looked at because it's just so old. Now where am I going with all of this? I am absolutely in love with my car. This to me is the longevity to which I came from. With this thing being made in Nov. of 93, and me being born on the last day of 95... This car is the embodiment to of all that I have come from. I grey up with young parents, and they personified what the 90's was, at least to me. Everything good about being a kid, I see it in this car. I have an obsession with the WRC, and yeah, I know this is nothing compared to a ST205. But when I watch hour long compilations of the Toyota Racing team ripping the ST205 in castrol colors... I feel like a child dressed as his favorite superhero whenever I step into my car. Every time I see it, it's like I can feel it nodding back in acceptance. It knows that I'm going to be it's last owner, and I don't say that with regret. She knows that I am going to treat her as well as she treats me. And when the day comes... in the distant future... It'll be time to put her to rest. No amount of comprehension can recall the legacy that I would have experienced with this car. This is where my question comes into play. I know that I am going to say goodbye, like the last episode of a TV show that ran for 15 years. I know for a fact that I can never "cheat" on my Celica and buy another brand. We all know that Toyota doesn't make anything like this anymore. If anything, Toyota has gotten exponentially better than they were in the 90's, but even now - The GT86 is not the answer I'm looking for. I want to keep buying from the 90's. Everything about it intrigues me to the highest degree. Ashtrays left and right. Rolley windows. The driver-centric design. Some may argue that the MKIV Supra did everything better, and they're right. But there's something tediously empowering about owning the "shadow car". The 5th and 6th gen Celicas make you work for your money. A Supra will always be the God, but who will be his sheep? The Celica is a sheep. There's nothing wrong with that, a ST205 can gladly take the black sheep role. Sheep provide wool, warmth, and food for the shepard. I don't think I can ever give up this ideology. That's why I now simply ask... Can we, and sheep like myself, live out our lives like this forever? 1990-1999 MR2's, Celicas, Supras. Will they become a relic? I don't think I have a choice. I can only prepare. I just need a crushable, a whip, and a worn leather jacket. TL:DR - Will 1990's Toyotas hold up to the test of time and always be available to the right people, thus living my entire life to the fullest? |

well it's been 7 months. nothing has changed. The guy who changes my oil said that the thing in the steering wheen is making contact. He asked if I had installed a sub wire (yes) in through the firewall on the far left along with the other wires. He suggested that I may have snagged a wre or two, causing the defroster and horn to go after a bit of time / bad luck. What do? |

My horn stopped working, fuse is fine, and replaced the relay, still doesn't work. The horn itself is fine, we hooked it up to a battery and it beeped, it just wont beep with the steering wheel. What else can go wrong? My rear defroster also stopped working, no visible breaks in the lines, just doesn't work. The light on the console lights up orange and clicks fine too. Any ideas? |

I did a 400 mi trip to buy some rims off craigslist, ended up getting around 44mpg, but hey... it's a stock ST, what else would you expect. |

I have a 1994 ST, bone stock, clean as F, almost 60k on the odo. I bought a set of 6-spoke Sport Edition rims down in Indiana for real cheap, barely used on a Cavalier. They are 7x15's with an offset of 35 (I think, and can anyone explain what that will do to my stock 14" steel wheels with an offset of 40). I need some suggestions for tires, I'm looking for all-season since I cant afford a set of summer and winter. And if anyone wants to "educate" me on things like offset or other tips and tricks, i would be very thankful. |
