Ok cool. So I’m guessing both the grinds from Colt Cams are more mild than the Webcam grind because of the lower degrees?

GT4Racing and Beatrush makes some. I have the GT4Racing on my car. The Beatrush one has vents to let hot air out more efficiently under the car. And it seems that you can only get it from Japan and cost more.

That makes sense, thanks! From my research, Webcam's 294 cams are popular but on their website they're going for at least $1000 for a set. So I got a quote from Coltcam:

Stage 1 256 degrees .330L for $385
Stage 2 262 degrees .345L for $425

Any thoughts, recommendations?

Question: if I do decide to get upgraded cams, would I need to get it tuned?

Thinking about going for a rally inspired look. Yay or nay for these Motegi MR141?

Yeah, these are more for the stance crowd. I wouldn't run them as a two-piece personally but it's nice to see the OEM wheels in a different light since I do like the design of the wheel.

Sorry it’s been awhile with school getting in the way, so other than re-shimming, are there anything else I should worry about?

So I was looking through my Instagram and came upon someone who converted the a 6gc Celica wheel a into 2-piece wheel. I think it looks good. Thoughts?

So let's say I was to buy a used set of cams off a Camry and send them to get regrinded by Colt Cam, how much reshimming would be needed?

Sup people,

This is probable a noob question but are the cams from the 5sfe the same for all the years of each car model like the Camry, Celica, MR2s and whatnot? Might be looking for an extra set to get upgraded since an enigne swap is out of the question for my daily with emissions and stuff.

Honestly, I would love to go to a meet and get into the car scene but I started going back to school and only check on here occasionally so I miss meet dates and whatnot

Ok so I've been reading about the 95-97 Avalon brake upgrade and it seems that the fronts are bolt-ins and no modifications are needed. But I can't find anything about the rear brakes so are they interchangeable as well? And will the stock wheels clear if I do upgrade. Thanks.

I read most of that forum and didn't see any examples of the wheel size and offset I was looking for. I'm planning on keeping with the standard 15 inch size, 15x7 with an offset of 15 mm so was just wondering if it was gonna poke but thanks.

Hello all, I've done most of my research about wheel offset and understands the basic of it. Now I'm just wondering how much poke would a +15 offset on a 7 inch wheel be? Currently on stock alloy wheels and lowered on Eibach Sportline Springs. Thanks!
