You can probably use the stock distributor as a crank position sensor and one of the stock sensors(I've seen Ne used on a AE101 4A-GE) and run the MSnS-extra firmware. I'm not too familiar with the 7A-FE distributor setup though. i wonder where i can get a 7a-fe wiring diagram if i have to buy a book i am going to be pissed, lol richie http://aarc.epnet.com/application/8959/8959.htm try this now i just need to find it for the 4a-** engines and i will be golded, also one of the wiring diagrams just has the Intergrated Ignition Assembly, now this could mean a few things 1. this motor doesn't have a distributor 2. or it does but is different from the 96-98 7a-fe motor i can tell you for a fact that the prizm motor has a dizzy, now can someone tell me if all the 7a-fe motors have a distributor? however i thinking being the motor is in a 93, then motor would be an obd1 motor or pre-OBD-II motor however toyota would say it and from the pic i see in the manual the prizm coil should have 4 pins on the distributor which are G+, G-, NE+, NE - thanks richie |
