Griffgirl : Thanks. Yeah the bonnet had to be cut to fit in the 5th gen gt4 scoop. Ive seen pictures of celicas with the C-one front bar with black mesh and it looks good. His car is white though. An02 is his nick on 6gc.net.

Could anyone photoshop that picture to have black mesh? Also i'd like to see what it'd look like if the car was purple. any purple. Thanks

The scoop is from a 5th gen GT4. What dont you like about it? i wish i had the real 6th gen gt4 bonnet... but alot of $$$
i was thinking of getting black mesh for the scoop and the front bar... what do you guys reckon would look better.

Well im 100% its off, by a fair amount too..
I dont claim to be a professional driver or anything, but i know roughly whats 60km and whats 70-75km....
Also when i drove on a 60km limit street... im driving 60... and its either everyone around me is speeding or im really only going 50kmph...

As for tyre size... my front 215's were replaced with fresh 215's so that cant be the problem.

Sorry if this is in the wrong category but i don't know where it should go.
I just changed 2 front tyres and got a wheel alignment done. Now my speedo is about 10-15kms off.
The speedo totally flies now, driving at around 60, it shows 75ish.

What could be the problem? or did the employees decide to throw in a 3sgte for me for free?

Hi, just recently my 5sfe has started to idle weird. Sometimes it idles at 600-700rpms, then suddenly dips to below 500 rpms and then my car shakes as though im about to stall.

i changed spark plugs not long ago. Does anybody know what else i should check for?

How do i change the thermostat??
Is there a how-to anywhere?

So the engine is running at normal temps and the thermostat is just off? nothing serious right?>

Hey guys.
My car takes quite a while to warm up, and even when it does... it only reaches a quarter... (i guess half of where normal operating temperature is. Its winter here in australia, not freezing, but quite cold.

Can anyone give me some advice on what to check for?

I own the red one. Its a C-one replica from Carmate.

Its not too far up. i think its just the angle of the photos that make it look like that.

hi guys. i was just wondering whats the first thing you'd look at when you cars drinking petrol like water?
im from down under here so i cant give you MPG. i average around 420kms from a full tank (60L). Other celica owner get around 550kms.

Also, recently my car takes AGES to get to normal operating temperature. for the first 10-15 mins the gauge is at a quarter, then awhile later it goes to just under half.
any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

just a quick edit to give more details...
its a 5sfe... 420km from 60L is shifting at 3000 rpm... sometimes a little more... mix of city and highway...
no black smoke from exhaust... sometimes a smell of fuel when i just start the car....
200,000kms driven on the car... thats about all i can tell you for now.
