ok, in the first pic the damage is around where the bumper/latch and hood meet. since no-one can see it...kinds good i guess, here is a picture of it reflecting in the sun.


oh and sorry shigexile, i would much rather have stuff picked up than shipped, phantom was very quick to plan a trip to do so.

well, after the crash in the photos, i took everything off, put old hood, on. and boom, another one...this time it bent the front of the car really bad, and i was like...eh, oops, so im selling everything that wasnt on the car at that time.

the side skirts, still are in great condition.
Phantom-is going to try to pick them up this weekend, if that goes thru, i will keep everyone posted.

I am selling first off my Zyclone hood. It was involved in a very minor crash is still in good condition other than that. upgraded hood wing was added. i have a box to ship it in, i dont know how much thats going to be. but should be a little cheaper with my own packaging.

Ok so with hood off i noticed that the damage isnt all as bad as i thought, and most if it can be fixed by taking pressure off the front hinge (basically putting shims on the back 2 hinges) here are the pics as requested.


at this point, you can barely see there is damage...i didnt do anything to the hood before taking these pics.



sorry its blurry, basically this one tries to show that there is a crack...but it seals itself w/o pressure.

well in this case best offer will take it, im going out of town for mothers day i will be back sunday night, ill see then what the offers are and ill contact the best one.

well i look at reviews for other cars....and the main problem is the infamous clunking for a coilover system...
and in the RSX community something was said about bad swaying on one installation...thats why i wish someone would give more detail on their install with the celicas.

That sounds reasonable, i have the orig box it was shipped in, so the shipping probbally wont be killer,...hopefully. if you want it i can have it out early next week.

Insurance refuses to pay for my Carbon fiber hood because it was not reported that it was on my car, so i am putting my OEM hood back on and selling it. it has minor damage to the front of it (from distance the damage is almost unnoticable), ive been told it can be fixed to new again, i however dont have either time nor patience to fix it.
(a lady at idle speed backed into me...cant parallel park)

This hood new cost 650, it also has an upgrade hood spoiler that was around another 100$

so im selling it, im looking for offers.

anyone here have the D2 system, the site given 2 post up has it 900...free shipping, thats really cheap...what do yall think? is it something i should do, or pay a few hundred extra for teins?

uh for that matter tanabe...or k-sport...if anyone has any of these please help me with a review. i have heard good things about tein...just curious if another route is good also. thanks
