Try and find a place that uses a Road Force balancer, it doesn't just balance the wheel and tire assembly but also takes in account the force of road on the wheels and recommend the best position for each wheel to be put back on the car to minimize vibrations. It works. We just did it on a 2016 M3 today, only had 7000 miles but was getting shaking at 80 mph. We Road Forced his tires and were able to get it driving smooth like glass all the way to 120 no problems |

So I finally had some time and went to try and put in this radio, connector style is different, so short answer nope it doesn't work. Also found out who whoever wired in the aftermarket single din radio knows even less about electrical wiring than I do. It is absolutely ridiculous in there, wires all over the place, looks like there is even regular residential/housing wire spliced in in spots. Thanks for the responses, back to keeping my eye out for a factory 6gc radio... |

Pretty sure any standard double din head unit should fit. Why do you want that headunit in particular? Sorry worded my post incorrectly, I know it will physically fit. Trying to see if it will actually wire up proper. I was asking about that unit in particular because I got one for free and the single DIN aftermarket head unit currently in there is junk and I want to go back to oem Toyota look. I know the easiest route would be getting an oem celica unit but since this one just fell into my lap I figured it might be with a shot. My knowledge when it comes to radios and wiring is pretty much zero |

BUMP FROM THE GRAVE Sorry guys, I got caught up with changing jobs and put getting rid of the car on the back burner. Seeing how warm weather is upon us though, I need this thing gone! Looks like I may be moving soon so I need this thing gone, I don't really have the time to fix it myself or part it out. I just replied to a bunch of old PMs I got previously about selling the car as a whole but still kind of first come first serve. Again, sorry for dipping out before but I will check this forum daily for PMs over the next 30 days. After that, probably headed to the local yard. Factory radio work? If so, how much? |

I am trying to order parts from olathetoyota, and they are saying that part number 17881-74690 is not the correct intake hose for a 99 celica gt. They are saying that is part number 17881-74691. Can anyone please explain to me the difference? it is an extra 30$ It is different depending on california or federal emissions, do you know which you have? I found 17881-74701 for California emissions and 17881-74691 for Federal, both are listed for 100.71 on my end |
