Hi, I just noticed your thread and thought i would give you a couple of options. I can ship you a bumper directly to your front door. I have the Blitz, C-5, and the Vader style bumpers listed for the car i will check first thing Monday to see which warehouse has them in stock and then ill send you a PM with prices and availability. Please PM me your zip code so that i can get you an accurate shipping quote. Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi guys once again small think that i can't sort bleed the power steering last night everything seemed fine checked it this morning and when turning pump makes a kinda whinning noise. Pop the hood and removed the cap from the res, let the engine just tick over and air bubble city in the res. any Thoughts.

Oh yeah don't see any leaks on the pipes.

You need to make sure that the reservior is full....start the car and turn the steering wheel lock to lock once or twice then shut off the car... let it sit for a bout 5 minutes....then repeat until the whining is gone.....this will allow the air in the lines to come out....if you have any other questions feel free to ask!

when swapping the engine in an ST does the tranny have to come out too?

my problem: I'm trying to preplace my st engine and EVERYTHING is detached but the block is got coming apart from the tranny all the way. there's gap all around the block n tranny to the point where i can see the flywheel but that's where it stops. n that's where i am stuck.

Do you have an auto or manual?

If you have an automatic trans there are bolts holding the flexplate to the torque converter that have to be removed. You can do this by rotating the crank and viewing the bolts and removing them from the dust cover located where the oil pan and the tranny meet.

If you have a manual transmission you may be getting hung up on the input shaft or one of the dow pins in the tranny.

Feel free to pm me or post if you have any other questions.

I just talked to them, theyre saying that they tried to fit a 3rd gen manifold on there but bolt patterns were different, i asked how this could be (since i bought the 3rd gen exhaust gasket). they insist it wouldnt match up on the block side, i know better though.

sounds like they just want you to pay for a custom manifold. Have them show you that it doesnt fit. if it doesn't, then you probably received the wrong manifold.

If it does, have them make the dump pipe go all the way down, and make the DP fit the exhaust and you are done! save your money and get something else that will give your better performance like a walbro fuel pump or a water injection kit.

Sorry guys we appreciate the critical comments. This was our first custom manifold on a fourth gen 3SGTE. Matt requested a custom manifold at the time of the build. We are not charging him any additional money to make this right so our customer is happy. Everyone makes mistakes.....especially with very limited information on the fourth GEN 3SGTE. We are willing to admit our mistakes. WE DO TAKE CARE OF OUR CUSTOMERS! Matt will have the manifold corrected at no charge!

Thanks,

Chris

The Only worry we have about welding the manifold is the fact that it may indeed warp....and to top it off we dont run our shop that way, nothing gets half done here! Our Machine shop wont even touch the manifold for us! So it's looking like a new manny for you Matt.

I am doing a swap for a customer and we purchased a 3rd gen 3SGTE from a Celica Alltrac. When the engine came in the Map sensor was broken. With all this in mind, I need a 3rd Gen Map sensor to complete this swap. If you have one you want to sell or know of any for sale please email, pm or call me.

Thanks
