Thanks presure2, that was helpful and it matches with the information that I worked up on my own. I was afraid that the older Toyota Gray and the newer Lexus Blue Slate were two different colors because photos of the cars look slightly different, but apparently I had it right in the first place. smile.gif Thank you for the reference to the Sherman Williams site, also... that will be helpful in the future.

Blue Slate Metallic?

I need you to check your production label in the door jamb and tell me what your paint code is. Look on the label for "C/TR" or "Color/Trim" and the first three characters after that will be the paint code. I show that it is 183, but I'm running into a problem with some other Toyota cars that share that same color... and I have a mistake somewhere. Thanks!

I see them on ebay quite a bit.

Yeah, my plan is to start buying some brochures on eBay, but I'm starting with the oldest ones first. 60s and 70s. I'm hoping that some enthusiasts will have some of the 80s and 90s laying around still.

97lestyousay: Do you think you can scan it in sections? Each page is probably 11x11, so you could do the top half and the bottom half separately. It takes a bit more time, but I can join them together in Photoshop on my end. This would really help me out.

Yeah, I saw that one. I'm looking for the general brochure, that one is for the Limited Edition only. The search goes on...

Here is the color and spec chart for the US-Spec Celica from 1994-1999. If you see an error please post it here and I will correct the page and graphic ASAP. You can upload a photo of your car to the site by clicking on the above graphic, then clicking on the appropriate camera icon next to your color.

I will make updates on the chart within a day of any errors or additions posted. To confirm or add your color to the chart just post a photo or description of your car along with the model year (or production date) and the color code. The three-character color code can be found on the production information affixed to the car. On newer cars it is usually on a label in the driver's side door jamb.
