I found this in my trunk while doing some cleaning...wtf?

The writing on it says

TOYOTA TM1
85310-20160
MPT-1.12V
MARUKO

I'm hoping its not something important...or that its a spare the last owner left...or something...

Thanks ahead of time for the help!

So...I dissappeared for quite some time here due to school, work, and other things. I made a few changes and fixed a few things on the Celi since then, and figured I'd post to keep track of my progress.

I got the chassis pulled (effin $400!!!) so that the front bumper is more aligned (though I still need to buy a new one since the old one split). I also got some clear turn signals and side markers off of Ebay, convinced my bro to let me buy his driver's seat off of him which will get reupholstered in leather, bought some new Motegi FF7 16" rims because the Momo's were so old and corroded they were letting air out of the tires, and have rewritten my list of things to do to the car, lol.

I need to rebuild the alternator, it's gonna go any day now. I need that new bumper, I want to red out the tails or get JDM's (still can't decide which will look better), and I want to repaint...or get some black vinyl patterns to work the black rims (or repaint and paint a black design on! XD). The interior still desperately needs work; I still need a new steering wheel (I'm totally turned on by the 3-spoke one I've seen around...).

Anyways, enough jibber-jabber and here's some pics!

Before the Motegi's got put on...

Man, I can't even imagine driving a car in snow...the only times I've been in the snow was with either a van or an SUV...I think I'd be too scared to try and drive the Celi in it tongue.gif

I completely agree with you.

Dunno if you heard about it or not, but some girl started a 'caucasian' club in school, suddenly she's getting **** on by everyone in the nation for it.

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?...BAGA12FSKT1.DTL

pretty interesting stuff. she's left her high school because of it, and everyone seems to think it's unacceptable. i don't think it's unacceptable at all, no matter what race you are, you should be proud to be it.

awwww....someone beat me to it? lol...it did always seem strange to have "Latino Club," "African-American Club," "Christan Club," and "Asian Club" with no "White Club" to be seen. Then again, a lot of them might have been in the "Christian Club"...but then I guess the Jews got left out. It is pretty silly, especially considering places that celebrate "multiculturalism" and leave out Caucasians as if they don't have culture. Whit people have culture, they just don't realize it because it's been mainstreamed, they're not the minority so the culture doesn't stand out. Having pride in being White isn't like having pride for being a different race, because the other races know their home country...most White people don't.

Just my 2 cents before class smile.gif

heh...PS2 was all the rage 5 years ago, and 5 years from now there will be a sicker PS4, lol...

Just found out the other day that the buyer of my old car destroyed the clutch (which explains why it has been in the same parking spot for two months now) and he's not fixing it because he's saving his money for a PS3. My poor old car. Oh well.

I've been pretty busy with school and work, and haven't really had time for the celi, or this site, but every time I come here I'm amazed at the wealth of information. I also really wanted to thanks all you guys for the great supporting atmosphere here.
Anyway, just wanted to thanks Coomer, the Mods, and all you other celica brainiacs for keeping this site awesome. wink.gif

I don't see how that is anti-semitic...funny and messed up at the same time, I agree, but just because the guy who is doing this is Jewish doesn't mean that non-Jews aren't temted to do the same thing or couldn't have thought up the same thing...

Start a petition for more jails...?

edit: or a program to bus these "excess" offenders to jails outside of your county?

When I first bought the car I drove it around for most of my friends to see. One of my cousins wasn't home when I drove by, but I saw him a couple days later at a party. He was talking about his Civic mods, my friend was talking about his Tacoma plans...and I was like "Oh, hey, have you seen my new car?"

He said: "Yeah, the Supra, whatever."

My boyfriend says: "Actually, it's a Celica."

Him: "Same thing."

Me: "Well, not really, but you wanna come check it out? It's outside."

Him: "Nah, that's okay. Toyota isn't fast enough for me."

Later the Tacoma friend tells me that my cousin's just sour because he was actually looking for a 6th gen Celi to buy and wound up settling for the Civic when he couldn't find one on island. biggrin.gif

I'm pretty pleasantly surprised to see that most people waited until they were 16 or over...or are still waiting...growing up it seemed to me like sophomore year (about 14-15 years old) was when everybody was givin it up...I wasn't ready for it, and I was never one to follow the crowd anyway, lol. I went through two boyfriends who I fooled around with, but never actually lost my virginity until senior year, I was 17, and I'm still with the guy three years later biggrin.gif

It's really a matter of knowing when you're ready. I have no regrets.
