Hey Alex! Longtime no speak! Anyway - yes, Stephen and I did it on my GT2 back in the day. IIRC all I had to do was swap out the gears because the teeth are slightly differently shaped. Didn’t want the 5S gear to chew up the fresh timing belt. Also IIRC it improved the 3S’s naturally low oil pressure by ~2PSI at idle (Which is a dramatic improvement). I’ll be doing it to my MR2T in a few months when I do it’s T-Belt. |
