If JDM tails did come off a junkyard in the area, let me know once you find out. That would be a nice find, there are a few things I have been wanting, but the ones I check never have anything I am trying to impulse buy. |

Congrats on the new ride. I had a sentra once, but nothing like that hehe. Mine had the huge 1.6 and went so fast the speedometer quit working. Sad I never got to see you riding around the area, but I'll have to look out for Shocker and his turbo here soon. Good luck on that endeavour. |

My passenger side drained all my tranny fluid out, but I wanted to change it anyway. =) Also look into buying a new seal too, I damaged mine on the first axle I took out and had to replace it. |

Casino Royale was good, it even brought a tear to my eye. I watched Get Shorty yesterday again, that was a great movie. |

Is it the one in General Discussion by Celicomx about the Japanese page? There is a link in there with a page showing a red Celica emblem. |

I don't know if its stateside only, but I get it at Advanced Auto or Autozone, probably any auto parts store would have it. It works though, helped me get some bolts off when doing my axles. |

I'm thinking its going to be bearing, because I have replaced both axles within the last 6 months. I'm hoping its only a bearing because that will be a fairly cheap option for me. Thanks for the test with the pencil, I'll try it out, I only know about the wiggling the tire. |

Yes, but only when turning right. I have to have a little more speed I think than I could get when trying to spin the wheels. Turn left no problem. This weekend I will hopefully have time to take the rotor off and check it out and look around in the car. |

I concur with Rayme. I think I have less money since I graduated, since I have to pay all kinds of new bills and still pay my huge school loan. |

Did you grease everything up when you put it in? Only thing I can think of with my limited knowledge of axle installation. |

Does the rotor and all that assembly go back on fine. If it seems a little tight you can try to tap the end a little, but be careful not to mess up the axle by using a metal hammer. I used a plastic hammer on a board to tap one axle in a little further once. |

After lifting both front sides and trying to spin the wheel as fast a possible, I could not recreate the noise. |

Howdy, I have an annoying little problem. When ever I turn my steering wheel to teh right just a little to all the way while rolling, I hear a squeak every rotation of the tire. It started about 3 days ago, and I got my 17s about 2 weeks ago. Also it rained a bunch here a couple days ago, so I am not sure if something came ungreased or what. Any ideas for what I could take a look at when I pop my wheel off. Oh yea, it seems to be coming from the frint driver side, at least that is where I think it is originating. Thanks |

Can you just slide it back out? When I put in my passenger side, you could feel when it was properly set in place. |

In the Chilton's guide, it told me to undo the fill valve on the front of the tranny and stick my finger in to see if the fluid level came up to right below the hole. Just becareful because the threads in the fill hole are kind of sharp. I broke my seal when I changed my passenger axle, and the fluid kept coming out once I put in the new axle. Not at the rate it did when the axle came out, but just a slow leak. The seal was harder to change than the axle itself. |

The passenger side vent, I ended up breaking off a couple of tabs to get it out. But it went back in no problem and doesn't seem to move around or anything. |

So I have noise coming from my engine bay or the surrounding areas when I accelerate. I know my clutch is probably going since reverse and 1st are sometimes tough to get into. But when I accelerate, sometimes there is a noise kind of like two cans rattling together or a thin metal baseball card against spokes. It happens more when I have been driving for a bit, and also seems to happen more at lower speeds. I also seem to be burning a little more oil than before, but not to any extent that I am concerned with it yet. I tried searching for this problem but could not think of any more rattling adjectives or such to try. If I can helpwith any more information, I'll try. Also if this has been posted before a link would be helpul. Hope it goes in this one and not suspension, nut it could also be something in my suspension. Thanks |

So with regards to the California Certification part (#1) would mean that if I move to Cali, my car is legal in the other 49 states, that I could stick an engine in it that came from another car made to Federal regulations? |

I have the Matrix bulbs and I really like them. They seem to light very evenly. I have the 3 main bulbs replaced and love it. Mine are red by the way. |

I'm going to be moving to CA in a little less than a year and was wondering what swaps would be kosher out there? It seems like there are so many resitrictions that I might just need to buy a faster car when I want the speed and keep the ST for all the other days. |

We had a chicken and ranch pizza at the old pizza shop I worked at that everybody loved. That thing stunk the place up, nothing like ranch cooking in a stone bake oven. The best thing you can put ranch on is cheese covered fries. Mmmmmmm! |

I just did it this weekend for the first time, and mine were really stuck in there. Just watch the seal when you pull out the axle, will save you a lot of time if you don't mess it up. Good luck |

Thank you Bitter and Hitcachi, I got the seal out and the new one installed. We will see in the morning if there are any more leaks, but I think I got all problems fixed. Thanks again |

Well I am back, the seal that is in the tranny is torn on the bottom side, and it is really stuck in there. Are there any tricks to getting it out? I broak the old axle getting it out, and I would rather not tear the seal apart trying to get it out. I hate climbing under the car, I find so many things I need to fix. |
