A few weeks ago I had to replace my wheel bearing so i decided to take a few pictures and do a write up of what i did. It was an easy project which took about an hour to take off, hour to put back on. Youll probably have to wait longer for the machine shop to do the pressing. These steps are good for either side in the front. I only replaced the pass. side so thats all i have here: (please bare with me its my first how to tongue.gif )

Hi thanks for this write up btw, just currently in the process of replacing my wheel bearing but struggling to get the 2 nuts and bolt off the lower control arm. I'm thinking I might have to snap them out but how would I go about replacing them. Seems to be no P/N but don't look standard nuts/bolts to me although they are very rusted it makes it hard to tell.

Wondering if you (or anyone else) knows the size of these so I would feel better snapping them off? Don't want to do it then end up not being able to replace them.

im not sure. best would be to check toyota diagrams, but even then thats not a for sure thing as pipe diameter will be different

The pipe diameters are the same aren't they?

I think as a whole exhaust system it's easily interchangeable but as for individual parts bolting onto another system I'm not sure but I don't see why it wouldn't.

Hi I've got an 99 SR model and the backbox is rusted to the point it is leaking. I'm wondering if I'm able to replace the backbox with a GT model backbox with it being able to just bolt straight up to the existing stock exhaust without modifications?

From what I can see they look almost identical but the GT exhaust looks a bit nicer

Here are two listings on Ebay:
GT: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/264395903883?ul_noapp=true
ST: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/254723597905

If so, will this hold true for aftermarket parts as well?

Thanks for any help.

Hi I've recently bought my first celica, it's a 99 SR model, my second car. Its only been a couple of months and I love it. Anyway so I wanted to put some coloured led lights in the dome light and in the lights on the doors. I'm just wondering how I'd find the spec to buy the right bulbs, cheers.
