Hi all, Sorry to start yet another 5SFTE thread, but I did search first! Anyway I'm going to do the turbo conversion to my ST204 and I've managed to source the manifold, turbo, dump pipe, oil lines and sump from an ST165. Given that these parts are much older than my car, will they still be compatible or did Toyota make a few changes over the years? I need to make a quick decision while this gear is still available, so a quick reply would be really appreciated! Cheers :-) |

Is there a way to disable the annoying 'chirps' that the factory alarm makes on an ST204 Celica? I feel so 90's every time I lock or unlock the car! I don't care about the alarm, just the remote central locking, so would it be possible to just disconnect the siren and use it for the central locking function only? Cheers Shane. |

QUOTE nice ride...looks good. FYI, its not a '205, only AWD 3sgte equipped celicas are 205's. 204 then, close enough! QUOTE for the love of god! why did you sell the soarer?! lol nice ride man love the rims with the red. I was sick of all the speeding fines and people wanting to race, plus there are so many Soarers around now because they're so cheap. This Celica cost me more than the Soarer, because the Celicas in Oz are pretty much all Oz delivered models, whereas the Soarers are all used Jap imports. I'm much happier with the Celica, sure it's nowhere near as fast, but it's just a better all-round car in my opinion. QUOTE That is. The hottest. Set of rims. Ive EVER seen! What them things cost ya? Thanks mate. Some people don't like the black, but I do! They're 18x7 Riax Sebrings, only AUS$1500 for the wheels and tyres. A friend who works at the tyre place gave me a good deal, I think they're closer to $2000 retail. |

Hi all, Great forum you have here! Here's my ST205 Celica ZR from Australia. It's pretty much standard besides the 18" wheels and lowered springs. The engine is the standard 5SFE, I've been thinking about a 3SGTE swap though. I've had it for just over a year now and really love the car, the wheels and suspension are a recent addition and massively improved the handling. This is my fifth Toyota, but only my first Celica. My previous Toyotas have been two Corollas, an AE86 Levin and a Soarer GT. |
