between school and work I havent had a lot of time to play with my celica, but I have managed to save up a couple Gs to put into my engine bay. One question though for the swappers out there. would it be better to get the 3s-gtte? or get a 3s-gte and add the extra T later?

QUOTE (schmoko @ Aug 14, 2003 - 4:53 PM)
The whole point of having a celi club about modding and improving your cars, is to do exactly that, to make your celica unique to everyone else's by making it look better, drive faster, handle better, etc.. if your just going to leave your car standard then dont bother joining a club and be like millions of others who just drive their normal motors day to day blending in with everyone else.
otherwise join a club, mod your car and support other people (like myself) who are trying to get companys to make more unique mods for our gen6 dont just say urrgh dont like that spoiler etc ... "beauty is in the eyes of the beholder" so if you think it looks good then go for it dont be a sheep like everyone else.... bah.. bahh..
personally i think my gen6 looks really good with a smooth clean look which is higly modded but does not look to over the top or tacky, cause i want a unique car i have done this and am proud of it.
so go on be different ...

BTW rice.... ehhhh... most people eat it - speak english please.

along with being in a club about modding, most people would like opinions of other people in the celica world to know if their work is unique or just ugly. Beauty may be in the eyes of the beholder, but if all you have heard is good things about something that is bad, you will be screwed in the long run.

That said... Those tail-lights are ugly, I wouldn't except money for someone to put them on my car. thumbsdown.gif

other than the reenforced A-frame to act as a roll bar, there isn't anything different about the coupes and convertables, a hatchback would be harder, but you could probably make t-tops pretty easily

wet okole makes neoprene TRD seat covers. They have new euro style chorded seat covers that are pretty slick as well. 1bwilson has wetokole covers and I think he is happy with them.

I think that you would be better off getting supra big brakes than GT4 big brakes. confused.gif

would you be able to get just slotted? Cross-drilled and slotted seems like it is a waste of money (too much pad wear, too little stoppage difference)

use two flat head screw drivers, cover the tips in a layer of tape so you don't make any marks in the dash. Use on on the top, and one on the bottom, and pry that sucker off.

PS. Ray's tip: sometimes when you swear at it, it gets mad at you and will give you a harder time, you have to remain calm and reason with it like you would a woman. "Baby, if you come out for me now, I will make you look so much better." or "Honey, I'm just doing this all for you" usually work without a problem. biggrin.gif

Nippon Power
I don't know if they will ship internationally, but they have g-stop hoses for the celica. But... It says that vert model cars use the same hoses as hatchbacks from similar years, that is a difference between coupes and hatches. So I would think that a brakeline for any celica of similar year should fit with any other type. as long as it is FWD. Check first though

The group of arab nations exporting oil is called OPEC. They may have raised prices on oil, but the rate at which the US fuel market taxes the oil is the real ripoff. Oil from OPEC is still the cheapest and best source for oil in the world. On average, each barrell coming out of OPEC is about $16 per barrell, and oil from west Texas is about 14.75 per barrell (but they don't import it) each barrell holds 42 gallons that means you should be paying 38 cents per gallon if they were non-profit. So if you look at it in perspective, the United States uses 19.7 million BARRELLS per day, each barrell at 1.50/gallon is a oh well, you do the math

well, I think your problem is that it is called Goodridge, not goodrich

whoh, I wasn't trying to make fun of you there. If it seemed that way, I am sorry, I was just pointing out a mistake to help you search for it better. Anyway, most of these places on the internet have them in stock, you just have to call them up, but since you live in france, that may get be a problem. I would say go to a place that says they have a complete goodridge line, and call them up to order it.
