asking 8000, OBO (see bottom) just needs new carpet. see my profile for pics or e-mail me @ liquidnate5000@hotmail.com just to update, the car has some minor front bumper damage and some scratches on the paint. It has a bra covering the bumper and is currently missing the carpet. (weight reduction all the way) The quarter window no longer goes up, but I'm getting that repaired as we speak. It has 95k miles on it right now. Still runs strong. Has Eibach Lowering springs, Injen Intake, TRD short shifter and custom exhaust. I also have uninstalled a set of MOMO component speakers for the celi and a 15 I believe. I can through that in cheap if interested. I'm sorry, I've been prompted to raise the asking price, but whoever can bring the best offer to the table will get it. |

Here's my car. I'm in no rush to sell it, but just putting it out on the market to see what kind of offers are out there. I'm open to any serious inquiries or offers. It's a 1997 Toyota Celica GT Convertible with about 90k miles on the engine. Minor mods including Custom exhaust, Injen Intake, Eibach Pro Kit Springs, TRD Short Shifter, and Pioneer CD Player. I also have a Momo Component Speaker system and Subwoofer for the car which I have not installed, if anyone would like to throw that in to the deal as well. The car has no known mechanical problems and minor front bumper damage (body kit rdy!). Pics : http://burningknuckles.com/cars/celica/ E-Mail: liquidnate5000@hotmail.com BTW, ignore my brother in the picture. He's retarded. |

OK, I have a 97 GT Convertible and I just purchased a 15" Polk Momo Sub. Now my delima is where to put it. I don't want to take out the back seat, so please no one propose anything like that. The big issues are security and quality. I really don't want the sub displayed so that every kid passing by gets the idea to rip open my top and take the sub. But I also want to get the best sound quality possible (I know its a convertible, so it's never gonna be that awesome with all the wind noise and crap, but at least to the point where I can make good use of my investment). So I'm open to suggestions. If you have any, please post it here. |

http://takakaira.co.jp/ Anyone seen this part? It's a round orange device that attaches to the feul line. This is what was written about it: Has anyone seen results? A new Top Fuel part, POWER NEO is released: using high quality neodymium magnet power. By using POWER NEO, the driver have at his disposal a simple but effective fuel tuning solution. This solution provides increased power, improved torque, enhanced engine response, treated fuel, and cleaner exhaust emissions. To improve your vehicle performance, just attach the POWER NEO product to your vehicle's fuel supply hose. POWER NEO fits all gasoline driven vehicle models. POWER NEO is effective as long as the magnet power is present. This is an economical tuning part, and requires no alterations to your vehicle. POWER NEO provides a cleaner exhaust emission, and is environmental friendly. In fuel tuning, acheiving a complete combustion of gasoline is the most difficult task. POWER NEO, by using an extremely strong magnetic field to finely re-arrange the fuel molecules, a more complete gasoline combustion is made possible (please see image). THEORY OF MAGNETIC POWER POWER NEO uses a strong magnetic field from the neodymum magnets to re-arrange the gasoline molecules to be in a more structured which provides a more complete combustion. This improves the combustion efficiency, and in turn reduces the amount of unburnt gasoline and corbon monoxide in the hydrocarbon infested exhaust gas. Carbon monoxide is the main component in exhaust gas pollution. POWER NEO is able to contribute to the global warming reduction which is the biggest environmental problem today. There are some aftermarket performance parts that uses similar magnet power to increase engine performance, like in oil filter applications, but POWER NEO's main purpose is to acheive a more complete gasoline combustion, and provide the driver a more dramatic increase in engine performance. With POWER NEO, the driver will see a dramatic improvement in torque at low RPM levels. This improved torque is a result of a more explosive combustion due to a more complete fuel burn (as close as 100%). Power is improved through out the RPM range without pressing the accelerator too much. This will also improve mileage as a result of lesser fuel consumption. Even in Formula One racing, full gasoline combustion is very much difficult to acheived. Full combustion of gasoline is one of the main purpose in engine tuning. There are currently no engine tuners that exist that could tune an engine to have a complete gasoline combustion. POWER NEO is a new engine tuning product concept that even the automobile manufacturer, or racing has not invented yet. INSTALLATION OF POWER NEO POWER NEO comes with an installation tool to first open up the POWER NEO. Once the POWER NEO is opened, attach & clamp the POWER NEO to the vehicle fuel supply line either between the fuel tank, fuel injectors, or fuel pump. If the fuel line is 12 mm in diameter or smaller, please use the optional spacer provided. It is recommended that the POWER NEO be attached as close as possible to the fuel injectors for better results. It is not recommended to use a stainless steel fuel supply hose when using the POWER NEO product as it will decrease the magnetic field strength. See below pictures on selected vehicle models for best results. |

just to clarify: this is an unused Apexi with nothing wrong with it. The only reason I'm not using it is because it doesn't work on the crappy 5sfe or the extra crappy 7afe. If you have a 3sge, fe, or gte then it's fine. As far as the price goes, I'm not even getting my money back. Shop around and you probably won't find a deal even close to this. So please, if you are going to make an offer, make it more realistic than 100. |

here are a couple descriptions. http://monkeywrenchracing.com/apexi_safc.html http://www.jscspeed.com/celica/electronics.../apexi_safc.htm And here's what's new for the AFC II Newly designed face screen similar to the Rev-speed meter Compared to previous SAFC model, adjustable level is increased from 8 to 12 points at desired RPM level Adjustablilty capacity between +/- 50%, with the possibility of adjusting at each RPM level Knock level can be monitored Save up to 2 different settings; IE one for street, one for track use Warning indicator can be set for air flow ratio, intake pressure, knock, and RPM Unlike previous models, data memory will not wipe out when all power from vehicle is disconnected (includes removal of battery) |

I have autocrossed my 97 gt a couple times. As far as I know it performs really well since it's light, wide, and quick. However, it has been my experience that autocrossing is entirely about the driver and tire pressure. It really doesn't matter what you drive, as long as you know your car well enough to handle the track. For autocross though I would recomend eibach springs, a trd strut brace, and maybe a sway bar upgrade. Most autocrossing will put you in a different class though. I don't have enough experience at the track so far, but my main claim to fame is beating a Mini Cooper S. lol. |

I was thinking about ordering a power package from Apexi: Super AFC Digital $351.20 Power intake filter $79.20 N1 Series Catback Exhaust $448.00 N1 Super Silencer $44.20 oh and an Apexi T-Shirt for 19.95 Anyway it seems like a really good package, but the N1 Exhaust system is listed as being good only for 2000+ model Celicas. I was wondering if anyone had actually attempted to install one of these things and if so, what kind of extra work did it entail? Or will the exhaust system simply not work at all? If anyone has some info, please get back to me on it. -Nate |

Well, I took a look and found a few bolts that were loose and my transmission mount was not firm either. After a little tightening up, things sounded a little better, but I guess I'll still give it about a month until I figure out if it's just not broken in. I know it's not slipping though... at least I'm pretty sure. Anyway, maybe I'll just look for chicks for about 300 miles until I break it in. lol |

I just put in a lot of work on my car over the last couple of days. I installed my Pro-Kit Springs, got a tune up, replaced my worn clutch, and had my flywheel resurfaced. Unfortunately, other than the smoother ride from my springs, my car is simply not performing like it used to. I feel like it has more trouble accelerating and getting to higher speeds like it did before I put the work in. I have to push in all the way on the gas to get anywhere fast. Plus there is this aweful scratching noice I hear whenever I'm about to shift gears. I think I got screwed over on the clutch job, but I don't know what to do. |

I'm looking into buying some Eibach performance/lowering springs. There are the Pro-Kit ones for a 1" drop, the TRD ones, and the Sportline with about 1.5" drop. I need some details though on the actual performance of each line. I heard some rumor that one line is variable where as the other is not. I'm not looking for the biggest drop (although it would be nice), I'm looking for the best performance. |
