i actually used a plumbers clamp and tightened the f**k out of it then whacked it with a hammer a few times... flew right off.... the pain in the but is just figuring out how to do the first one... and you cant really check if sealed or not without taking it all apart...

well hey, what fun would any car projects be without finding out you have the wrong parts, running out and getting the right ones at a local store for a lot more than what you would spend on the internet, but with the convinience of having them NOW instead of waiting a few days, and spending 6+ hours on a supposed 2-3 hour project? tongue.gif

Usually by then late at night tired and cold and you more than likely work in the morning but didnt plan on it taking too long. LOL @ car projects.

yea thats about right...lol
i understand that my goals are a little far fetched. I never said ANYTHING about 200WHP out of the motor, if you read carefully i specifically said i didnt want 200 WHP. I am still wondering if anyone has dyno numbers of they 7afe with anything over 100 whp?

I lol at your avat. ANON?

I have them on, but the front end isnt done yet and I am still waiting to get them painted. Where are you getting yours from? I got mine from Andys Auto Sport. I really like them for the most part. A couple of nicks and chips maybe caused by me even im not sure, nothing a little TLC cant take care of. I am haivng a rough time bolting them to my bumper, but i think thats due to the twisted top radiator support cuasing my bumper to be off. All in all, nice fenders really..

Yeah, my window was still open and I wasn't sure if I'd already posted. It is more of a short ram...therein is another question... CAI or SRI? I was thinking SRI so I don't have to worry about water, but I dunno...

Well, what I have been told is that you really shouldn't worry about water unless you are completely submerged in it. I'm not 100% sure CAI live up to the hype over them. I used to have one and didn't like the throttle response on it as much as my SRI. Its up to you.

I need one of those strips that go across the bumper that has the rubber bump that meets up wtih the hood, lol sorry for lack of technical terms. I also need one of the highbeam support pieces, like the piece of "L" shaped metal thats like a foot long that holds the bottom part of the high beam.

Anybody?

everybodys experience with these sites are going to differ so i dont see how that would be helpful.

well maybe like ebay has that % thing of how reliable it is. Maybe there should be a site dedicated for this. HMM LOL off topic.

I was thinking of getting something liek an oil cooler and running it to my tranny but does anybody know of any particular line to run it off of, im not 100% of the oil lines with the transmission
thanks guys
