I lost interest in mine once too. My solution: I drove something else for a while. Trust me, you'll REALLY want your aging, slow, oversteering, but cherished Celica back. As strange as it sounds, the 6th gen Celica just has a certain "feel" that other cars just can't match. Of course, boosting and swapping are great options to give the car the power you want. However, both cost a lot of money and if we all had that much money, odds are we wouldn't be tinkering around with Celicas. My advice: Freshen the car up. New struts, ball joints, tie rod ends, polyurethane bushings, sway bar end links, take the seats out and steam clean everything, etc. You get the idea. It'll still cost a good bit of money, but it can be done one day at a time. Even if your car still feels good, there's room for improvement by replacing aging parts. Plus it's a great feeling to replace parts yourself then take the car for a drive and be able to feel the results. It's also cheaper than car payments. When you are finished fixing everything up and you still aren't interested in the car, all of the new parts are an excellent selling point. lol so true. But it has to be a ****ty car usually. I drove a Saturn for a month while I was working on my celi and boy that first drive after it was done was just priceless. Although driving anything after a Saturn is an improvement. |

What? Your worried about reliability yet wanna install a Fuel Cut Defender? That's stupid because the FCD will actually allow you to run higher than normal boost so with a boost controller set at 17 you will run the risk of going over that and there goes the reliability. And you'll want to disable the TVSV to allow you to run full boost in 1st and 2nd gear. Also while it is said 3s' can handle upto 17psi stock, your chances of engine failure are still higher as it puts more pressure on all other engine components. |

Looking for someone among you guys that is willing to sell his Oem St205 airbox and intake rubber hose for cheap maybe. I know many Gt-Four owners have replaced theirs with an aftermarket one and might not need it anymore. I have bought mine with an aftermarket intake system and it's about to turn to dust and it also sucks (everything but cold air) hehe. hey I got the box and half the intake hose. How much you looking to buy it for? And I'm all the way in Alberta. |

I love those rims! And they look good in white. But in my humble opinion, White rims only look good on a white car. |

lolz i got the ones walker has. There reaaaally isn't alot of options for the speedo and I don't like white so I went with those. It makes the car look more modern but its a little too flashy and I'm getting a bit tired of them. Also your dials don't stick out as much and have to be modified. There was a guy selling a similar one, not sure if you like it much better but its also more expensive. http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showto...amp;hl=Iceman22 There are a few companies that can make custom ones but you gotta send them your cluster and they replicate a design but its $$$. |

Really nice! I would even prefer that over leather/vinyl as I love suede seats. So comfy. |

I hate the sound of the inline 4 cyl. more than anything. I ran straight pipe with a cat, no muffler. I wanted to commit suicide after driving it with less than a mile. I added a resonator and it's at least somewhat tolerable, still sounds like a fart machine. I've never heard a single good sounding inline four engine ever, doesnt matter what or how much you spend on your exhaust it's still going to suck. I have to agree. I had a Soarer with the I6 1jz and even with an axle back exhaust it sounded better. |

Or just get rid of it and get a hidden antenna. I posted a pic of mine in a previous thread. Search and you will see it. |

Totally agree. Subaru's have such a nice tone. I have the blitz exhaust and while it is deep, it doesn't have that brrrrrrr-noise the Subaru's get with an aftermarket exhausts. I'll try get a vid of my exhaust so you can compare. |

Ok I got DDM 6k hids a while ago and I don't know if its just my bulbs but their is a very very very tiny color difference between the two. If I look at my left one from an angle, it looks bluer than my right one. Not that noticable though and Im happy. My friend got a pair of 3k yellows though and the difference between the two is more visible. I ordered a yellow for myself and waiting for it to arive so I can compare. But basically you get what you pay for. They definitely won't beat OEM bulbs. |

here you go, did a quick intall and just ran the wire by the side, not very hidden but will make it better. Then just grounded it to a bolt right where the antenna is mounted, its behind the long plastic trim and the power wire to the old power antenna jack and the antenna wire itself was just plugged into the wire going out. |

I'm just in the process of painting my winter rims with plasti-dip. All but one is left. Stuff seems really thick and nice. Will update when its done and on the car. |

i receieved the ebay hidden antenna i ordered and installed it just on the inside of the rear window near the top so its hidden. And now I can finally listen to the radio again after having cut the power to my humongous power antenna which is taller than the car itself. Now will take out the old one completely and cover the hole. |
