I have these quads on my car and they look the dogs (IMHO). As to installation... they are a straight swap. As for the colour... they come in black and you need to have them resprayed to your chosen colour yourselves. If you want to upgrade the bulbs to LED's then that means you will need a couple of resistors to slow the indicator lights down to half the speed on blinking. I used Ace Parts for my LED's. Ask for Alan and he'll chuck in the resistor kit for free. HTH Simmo |

The cars were arranged into a semi-arc and then several piccies were taken (about 22 in all). Then it was a case of stitchin' them together to recreate the arc. Glad you guys like it. Simmo |

Hi All, OK... the regular Scottish Members, of the Celica-Club, have convened and we have now set the date for the Scottish Borders meet. Date Saturday 21st August 2004 Time Whenever you get there. I think Steve, Kevstir and whoever else we rope into our convoy will probably be there from about 10, although that may be subject to change. Location The view point on the Scottish/English border on the A68 Please check the following link for exact location. How to find the meeting point Whos Welcome Everyone, members, lurkers, non-members, we don't care. Get yourself up to bonnie scotland for some nice fresh air and a chance to meet some of the more northern memebers. I've done a 1000 miles round trip for a meet so no excuses Cheers, Simmo  |

Hi Guys, I removed the original dials, which are overlays themselves on the UK spec, doing this solved my problem of sticking needles. To remove I just snipped the original ones to the centre, took them off, used a pin with a head to replace the original needle rest. Worked for me. Hope this helps Simmo |

Have you removed the origianl dials or placed new one on top? Remove originals and all will be fine. No more sticking. Simmo |

Hi all, I am in the tail end of having a sc fitted to my 3s-gt engine. Just waiting on the tuning of it. Currently running it in for 1000 miles. Running @ 230 BHP at the moment. Hoping to eek some more out of it after mapping. Some things to think about if contemplating it are the stock internals will need to be changed/uprated if you want the car to last. You WILL be without the car for several months. The cost is not for the faint hearted and last but not least, GET IT DONE PROPERLY!!!!! There are so many people out there who might think they know what they are doing.... check them out BEFORE you start. HTH Simmo |

Through experience... 0 to 60, the 6th gen (uk spec) is fatser than the gen 7 (uk spec) 60 to 100, the gen 7 makes up the ground what with the lift and all. Both cars max out at about 145mph (Gen 6 was in front ) Simmo |

After several emails, I have found out a bit more info. The covers were made by a company called Galbo, who are no more. Gang's Jail used to sell them but have sold out. Had a reply from a company in South Africa who are investigating the possibility of making these. Will let you know how it turns out. Simmo |
