So its been a long time since i got on 6gc. For those that remember, my car got totalled by a lady that ran across four / three lanes of traffic and nailed me.

Im looking at a 300zx... if i were to buy another celi it would have to be a GT with mods or a swap to a jdm 3sgte or so

My car's life was ended this morning... i was driving and some old lady cut across traffic and just tore the side off of my car.

Im looking for another car, possibly within the 1-6000 dollar range. Does anyone know what kind of car would be ideal for me?

Im looking for a sports car, must be 5 or 6 speed, and its gotta look nice too! Any ideas?

i like black... red fades, and just doesnt seem to suit the celica... white is nice, but black takes it all for me...

I have a black '94 Celica GT, just fixed. Bought it wrecked.

I had to get a new front end... it sucked...

So far i had to get
-New front end
-New headlights
-New hood
-New windshield
-Fresh paintjob
-Dents fixed

But! I hope to style my car soon, maybe someone can help me figure out completely what i want to do with it?

Yeh.... i just got my car painted... i just tried to start it and it wont even turn over... pisses me off lol

Alright i think ill stick with those... maybe a brushed aluminum finish?

I bought my car a few months ago with a few dents, and put an aftermarket front bumper on, and decided to get it painted.

My father worked it out with a friend to paint my car and fix the dents for only the price of the supplies! Awesome!

I've been waiting for 2 months and a week... they are just painting it this week.

It sucks whenever you get such a good deal that you cant complain, but you miss your car so bad that you WANT TO....

oh well... its coming home monday!

Definetely be polite though... this guy is the same guy that will be FIXING your car... don't make him mad =D

I found a box in my car, and noone knew what it was...

coaxial connections and tons of wires... i thought it was something for audio but it turns out the it MAY be for a wireless device... but its connected to my antenna and all kinds of stuff

probably someone listening in on my conversations and stuff... oh well

I still havent taken it out... because... its cool to have a box that noone knows what it really is in your car

When i bought this car, the body and interior had a lot wrong with it... dents all over the place...

I got the outside completely painted and fixed... now for the interior

Seats and everything are very nice... nothing i can find wrong except the dash trim is cracked and whoever painted it did a HORRIBLE job...

Lots of trim options here... anyone know a cheaper place, and what finish should i get ? I have black interior with the gray/black seats and the car is black itself... what would look good?

My cars been in the shop for 2 months ... but im getting free frame work, paint, and the whole works... i cant complain but good god its hard to wait

I woke up to ice one morning and used my old ozzy osbourne tape to scrape the ice off

I have used my hands... but that just hurts after the front windshield and side windows

never washed it in the cold however...

I was wondering if anyone with a black celica would let me use their pictures of their celica to create some signatures...

I dont have any pictures of my celica up yet, but im bored and would like to start working on one.

Ok then i've decided to keep it and do the swap (i found a 3sgte... actually 2... one for 800 and one for 1400 not sure on gen) ....

Afterwards, what mods do i want? I need something mid-price range, not extremely expensive but not cheap as hell... i want the car to be respectable in both looks and power / performance

i plan on erebuni full body kit with angel eyes so far

any ideas? (Black paint, probably 15% tint, and not sure on rims yet)

Wanna get a list started before i start, so i can have a general price range for starters... i realize that once i acheive that goal, ill probably spend more... but i need goals to reach first

I just bought a 1994 Celica GT (Black) at a junkyard here in tennessee...

The guy told me that some kid left it here after wrecking it, because he wanted to get a new celica anyways... apparently the kid or his father was rich ...

I picked up this Celica for 500 dollars...

Repairs :
- New Front Bumper
- New Front Windshield
- Radiator
- Distributor

That is ALL that was required to make this car run PERFECTLY (mechanically sound). My father and i can find nothing else wrong with this car.

Next thing that was wrong, and i just found out about 3 days ago was that the frame was bent a little...
I got this fixed, all the dents taken out, and a full new paint job.

My question is...

Should i spend a lot of money and get a 3rd gen 3sgte swap (the labor is free considering my father and i will do it) , or should i just use this car as an everyday driving car, and spend my money on something else.

I just dont want to spend all that money on a car, and then realize that it wasnt worth it , or that i could have spent my money on something much nicer.

Any suggestions?
