QUOTE(OrbitalGT95 @ Oct 10, 2006 - 9:09 PM) Rob, did megan sell the car?? No, we still have it. I've been working on it for the past year trying to get it painted before winter. The last paint job sucked and some kid rear ended it at school last year. I figured I would do a complete remodel and do it right this time around but I don't have alot of time anymore to work on it. I just want it to be perfect this time and finally finish the interior. |

We should see about renting a pavilion for the meet, because I don't think the cops would like it if we were grilling in the parking lot. Then we have a place to sit and some shade to keep me from burning up. |

QUOTE(playr158 @ Mar 27, 2006 - 9:38 PM) who said i was doing this? i never did.... and really honestly look out into the car world roof chops are a COMMONALITY in the hot rodding industry...so wats the difference? there isn't one...a roof is a roof and windshield is a windshield wat can be done on a ford coupe can be done a 6th gen celica... glass DOES NOT in all cases have to be custom made..in cases it is possible to use the existing stock glass and cut to fit..yes this does happen and glass is cuttable... BTW: http://www.ifcustom.com/web%20pages/services/choptops.htm they use stock glass in lots of applications projects start at 3500$ The glass in old cars isn't tempered, which means you CAN cut it. Newer cars have all that safety glass that CANNOT BE CUT. I have done chop tops before. I went to school to build hot rods, so I kinda know what i'm talking about. The only way on newer cars is to lean the glass but then it will throw off your side windows. If you notice on that website the back window on the greenish-yellow truck sits well below the front of the bed. You can't cut the glass so the glass has to go somewhere if you want to use the stock glass. You just won't get a good quality job out of it without spending tons of money. Getting the glass made will defenitly cost more than your car is worth. You might be able to find glass from some other car that has smaller windows, but good luck getting the right curve too. |

QUOTE(presure2 @ Nov 26, 2005 - 5:13 AM) actually sirius JUST relesed a portable player. and it does play live radio HOWARD ROCKS! The one that just came out plays live radio only when pluged into a docking station. You have to record the radio onto it to listen to it without a docking station. This is the one that just came out. |

My girlfriend wants satellite radio for christmas. She wants to go with Sirius because they have better stations and Howard Stern. The problem is that Sirius doesn't have a portable version like XM does so that she can go running with it. Actually they do have one portable unit, but i doesn't play live radio. You have to record the radio on to it. I've been doing some research and found out that the XM antennas will work with Sirius. So I was wandering, does anybody know if the power adapters are interchangeable too? If so, I can get the portable XM kit and hook the Sirius unit to it. Any input would be greatly appreciated. |

I got my whole set up from AIM. I haven't had any problems with it yet. I've bought a ton of stuff from AIM through the years and I can't be more satisfied. |

I have to get mine inspected every year here in Pennsylvania and they never say anything about the air ride except how cool it is. You will be fine as long as your not stupid with it. I know here in PA if your caught playing with it on the road they will make you take it off. I don't recomend it for a daily driver. It gets annoying on long trips. |
