haha yes, when I had my celica and a friend of mine had a vw golf there is no comparison to german engineering compared to american/jap. Granted the celica looked nicer but the feel of the german cars is strides better than jap cars. jap cars just run forever!

When you go from 114 hp to 220 hp 6-speed w/ quattro, front and rear heated leather seats, bose audio system, xenon lighting, navigation system, homelink, self dimming rearview compass mirror, dual climate control and a ton of other options the celica did not have, parting with my celica wasn't such a hard decision. I still had it around but it was serving no purpose. When I think about it, there is no part of the celica that tops the Audi other than the reputation jap cars have for running forever. I wouldn't have bought this car without purchasing the extended warranty on top of it so I have some peace of mind knowing that I have 4 years or up to 100k under warranty. I won't have this car until 100k because I already want something faster. Plus, I sold my celica for almost $4500 with 192k miles on it. Not bad since I paid $6500 in 2000.

I got a great deal on it. I got it for $18k and book value was just under 25k

19's will be here in less than two months. Still deciding which ones.

extended warranty is a wonderful thing my friend. granted the celica was a great car but it doesn't compare to this thing. but you're right if you can't afford the repairs for a car like this you shouldn't have one.

my next car will be an s4 or an m3. Audi's are amazing cars. Great quality and have a good amount of potential. There's a guy on the audizine.com running mid 12's. Not bad for a car that is 175hp stock. My 3.0 is 220 hp stock and the only performance upgrade is a supercharger which is about $4500. That would get me in about the same range as an S4 with my A4.

Don't know if you guys remember me or not but I used to have a black 94 celica w/ 18" wheels. I sold my celica a few months ago and thought I'd share my new ride with you...

Those have been gone for a long time. Like I said earlier it's pretty much 100% stock unless you count clear sidemarkers, red emblems and clear spoiler light

I now have pictures. It is dirty and it was raining but you get the point.

I told myself that I would take anywhere from $1200 and up. The title is clean but this is the best offer I have refceived so far. People if you needed a car for a daily driver or just to have a few parts that you needed and you parted the rest of the car out you would easily make more than you have into it. The headlights alone you could probably get $6-800 out of. If nobody gives me an offer over $1,000 it's yours. Where are you locate?

I recently purchased an 02 Audi A4 3.0 and don't need my celica anymore. I am just looking for a quick sale and don't really care whether or not I get what it's worth. The car has a clean title and still runs great. Within the last year the alternator and clutch have been replaced. The interior is in great shape and has the factory cd/cassette combo, power windows, power locks, power mirrors and sunroof/moonroof combo. The interior is in EXCELLENT shape. I would rate the exterior as average. It has some door dings and a few scratches. The passenger side fender is unpainted because I hit a deer. The front bumper also has a small crack in it from the deer. The only rust that I know of is the bottom of the driver side door. Because of that rust there was some water that got in the door and caused the speaker in that door to quit working. It is pretty mechanically sound still. It has about 192k miles and still runs great. I replaced the guage cluster because I tried putting indiglo guages in and broke a needle so it reads 142,500 miles on the dot but it really has 192,344 miles. Like I said earlier my dad put in a new clutch and a new alternator. He also just replaced the brake line. I think the oil sensor is bad because it has been on for a while and haven't had any problems. The airbag computer was fried so at the time the airbags don't work and that light is also on but this could be replaced very cheaply if you bought one from someone that is parting their car out. Every once in a while when you start it there is smoke that comes out of the exhaust. It doesn't effect the way the car runs or opperates but I'm just trying to list everything that I know is wrong with the car. The tires are still good and they are only a couple of years old. The car is pretty much back to stock with the exception of red emblems and clear side markers. I had the stock exhaust put back on a while ago as well.

If you are truly interested let me know and I will clean it up and take pictures this week for you. If I don't get any interest on here or celica.net I'm just going to throw it on ebay with no reserve. I just figured that I'd give someone from these sites to have a chance at it first. Make an offer and I am in Columbus, OH if anyone locally wants to come take a look at it.

I am getting ready to buy a new car and am going to be putting my 94 celica ST up for sale. The car has 190k and still runs like it did when I got it with 114k. My father is very good with cars and has fixed any major problems that the car has had which is only a new alternator (fall '04) and a new clutch about 3k miles ago. The car runs great and is in decent condition on the exterior. It does have your door dings and scratches but the major exterior problem came in the fall when I hit a deer. It broke the passenger side headlight (low beam) passenger side turn signal, put a small crack in the bumper and a big dent in the fender. I didn't have full coverage on the car so I just put a new headlight, turn signal and fender on myself. There still is a crack in the bumper and the fender is not yet painted. The interior is in great shape. It has the factory installed cd/cassette player, tan cloth seats, sunroof/moonroof, power windows, locks and 35% window tint. The interior is in great shape for a car with this many miles. The oil sensor and e-brake sensor are bad and the airbag computer is fried. The tires are in great shape and it is a great looking car. Just add some paint to the fender and it will be good to go. Drives Perfectly!! Please get ahold of me if you are interested and throw any offers my way. I am looking for $2500 but will negotiate.

Yes, you did get me a set that you completed in 2003. Then I sent you another set to be completed after that. You never sent me the turns back or refund my $20.00. When you sent me the first set you did for me you sent me $20 because it took you so long but the second time I received absolutely nothing.

1bWilson: Jermey, I have been waiting for my 3rd set of lights from another buyer so that I can do all the lights at the same time (arrival time was all the same) The lights are a no show, so I am going to get yours done and out of here on wednsday. Would be tomorrow but i have to be at a shop all day dealing with my turbo timer install and new ignition.

1bWilson:I am not going to try and give you an excuse because Im sure you wouldn't believe it anyway. Some very unexpected things have happned in the past 2 weeks and I am in the process of putting my life back together. Say what you need to on the boards if it will make you feel better, that is your right. All can say is they will be out soon.

1bWilson: I thought you had recieved them? I have a set of stock turns here just laying around if you want them I'll send them to you. I dont have the equipment anymore to make the lens. Im sure fallen can make you another set. I can mail them to him for you if you want also. Again I was under the impression you had them. I havent been on the board much lately but I think fallen still does it.

Me: Maybe you forgot about it but in June (2003) I sent you a set of stock turn signals for the 94-95 celica and $20.00 for you to make them clear for me. I need those lights since one of mine broke. I would prefer a set of the stock ones (not modified) plus my $20 back. Please let me know what is going on here.
